Repairing a damaged panel instead of replacing the whole garage door saved one Acorn Overhead Door customer money. In a March 2025 Google review, the customer said Justin identified the existing door, ordered the damaged panel, and the panel was replaced. The customer thanked him for avoiding the cost of a new door. Acorn is based in East Bridgewater and offers garage door repairs, new doors, and opener installation. The company says it has been in business for 45 years and serves towns including Abington, Brockton, Duxbury, East Bridgewater, and Halifax. Its website advertises free estimates and says it is insured. Google shows a 5-star average from 491 ratings. A March 31, 2026 reviewer describes a keypad problem: after speaking with Justin, Steve was sent out promptly that day and fixed it. In a separate March 25, 2026 review, a Raynham customer said a technician replaced a broken spring the day after the customer called. The technician also identified and fixed safety issues on both automatic door-opening tracks. Door replacement customers described the consultation and installation as well. In an August 2024 review, one customer praised Tina’s responsiveness and said Justin and his team arrived as planned on August 15, worked quickly, and left fully functioning new doors. A January 2021 reviewer identified Tina as the owner, said she explained the options and answered questions, and described receiving a quote promptly and proof of insurance when requested. That customer said the installers explained everything and that the new doors were quiet and the garage was warmer afterward.
