A 2023 customer had plumbers in to renovate an upstairs hall bathroom and said their work was professional, clean and performed with attention to detail. A 2024 customer said Michelle ordered the part and got an air handler motor replaced for $250. A 2025 customer said a small item left for a plumber's repair was fixed two days later, and Michelle told them there was no charge. A 2022 customer who called for routine AC maintenance said Carl was on time, took the time to explain things and was honest. A 2025 customer who called about a loud heat pump said that a month later the sales rep "Ike" had still not returned their emails, and wrote that the company's communication and follow-through was lacking. A 2025 customer wrote that Mike Bria was the only person of five HVAC companies quoting a new AC system to run a true load calculation. In a 2025 update, that same customer reported several significant installation and service issues over the years and a delayed response from the owner, and said they could not recommend the company for installation or service. A 2024 customer said a worker went out to the home two times and the "broiler" still was not fixed.
2025 Update: Unfortunately, I’ve had several significant installation and service related issues over the years. I’ve tried contacting the owner to discuss the latest and most serious issues, but the delayed response has been disappointing to say the least. I stand by my original review of the sales process, but I can’t recommend this company for installation or service. Original: I just completed a months long quoting process for a new AC system, which included five very popular HVAC companies in the Danbury area. Adolf Krueger was by far the most knowledgeable, professional and responsive company I dealt with. I worked with Mike Bria, who was great throughout the quoting process. He was the only person of the five to run a true load calculation (super important for AC work!), while the others used rule of thumb approaches. He also took the time to actually ask me how I'd use the system (i.e., I like to keep the temp around 72 and open the windows on most days), and made recommendations based on that. Other companies were suggesting equipment that was way more than I needed. Lastly, I'm not an easy sell; I ask many detailed questions to make sure that I understand what I'm spending my money on. Mike really blew me away. He really knows his stuff and provided detailed responses, making sure to fully answer all of my questions. While I haven't had the equipment installed yet, I wanted to make sure I gave this company a glowing review of the sales process, because it really was nice to sign the quote without any lingering questions, worries or concerns.
Before the holidays I called Krueger for a loud heat pump. They sent a technician out to my home to inspect. The tech could not find anything wrong except for a loud compressor. I inquired about purchasing a new heat pump. He stated the office would reach out to me. A few days later I called them to move things along. I was told that the sales rep "Ike" would contact me. a few more days go by, and I receive an email with three quotes for new systems. I write him back and explain I would just like a new heat pump and can we discuss after the holidays. Fast forward a month and "Ike" has still not returned my emails. I would also mention that I called the office an additional time and my problems keep falling on deaf ears. If you are considering Krueger their communication and follow through is lacking. Consider other options. John. S-Danbury, CT
I had a small problem that required the expertise of a plumber. I was informed that it would be a minimum of a 1 hour service call. I agreed and left the item that needed work and told them that there was no rush and could wait until next week. 2 days later I got a call telling me it was fixed. When I went to pick it up, Michelle told me that there was no charge. These days nobody does that. But they did. Even though I was an existing customer of theirs, I was not expecting that. They are the best. I will continue to use them in the future.
I connected with Michelle as i was just looking to replace the Air Handler Motor and it was under warrenty, the guy who installed my AC moved out of state and retired. I connected with many companies and they were quoting me a high price. Michelle was able to order the part and get the part replaced for just $250 ( $70 for site visit and $170 as labor).
I should had read the reviews before I had called in. Workers are unknowledgeable, carelessness, neglectful , with low performance. YOU can bet your money the worker will take there sweet time to charge a handful ! Not only did the individual go out my home to work two times on the broiler but the broiler still was not fixed , with words of “ I dont know what’s going on, mybe it could be this , or it can be that “. I thought I was in the twilight zone . The company’s motive is solely based on “ Getting your money at all cost! As a homeowner I DO NOT recommend this business to anyone , do your research. Unfavorable outcomes , bad business…..STAY AWAY
