AGF Surfaces is a stone fabricator and installer on Nashua Street in Worcester, cutting and fitting granite, quartz and marble for kitchen counters, islands, vanity tops, fireplace surrounds and shower niches. A general contractor writing in 2025 said he had been a customer since 2006, and another trade reviewer said he had used them on more than 60 jobs, so the shop's history with builders runs well back. What homeowners describe most is speed and a named person who stays with them. Reviewers name Lorrayne, Tammy, Camilla, Nicole, Sara and Patricia in the office and Claudio, Bruno, Leandro and Tiago on the crews, and the same names recur across five years. A 2023 reviewer had a countertop ordered and installation scheduled within 24 hours of the first call and the whole job done in about seven days. A 2022 reviewer went from Monday showroom visit to Tuesday template to Thursday installation. Others describe measurement on a Friday and installation the following Monday, and a full job inside two weeks. Price comes up as often as speed, and reviewers put it in numbers. One who contacted nine countertop installers said AGF's quote was the best by far; another saved about $1,000 against a comparable quartz elsewhere; a third was steered to a similar slab at a lower price than the one they had asked about. A 2026 reviewer had an undermount sink refixed to a granite counter after six months of looking for anyone who would take the job. The complaints are few but specific. A 2026 reviewer, otherwise happy, wished there had been more communication before their cabinets were cut. A 2022 one-star reviewer found the front of a sink installed in late 2020 separated three-eighths of an inch from the counter, and was quoted a $200 fee — $150 as a Worcester resident — to fix it, which they thought unreasonable for that age of installation. Nothing else in the record contradicts that account, and no later reviewer describes a similar failure. They suit a homeowner who wants a slab picked, templated and installed quickly and at a competitive price, and they clearly work as a subcontractor for builders and remodelers too. Ask what the warranty covers on sink attachment and seams after the first year, and confirm in writing when your cabinets need to be cut relative to templating.
“I used agf before the pandemic, good stuff”
“AGF Surfaces was recommended to us, and overall we had a great experience. From the start, Lorrayne was incredibly friendly and provided a quote very quickly, which we really appreciated.”
Lorrayna helped me with my quartz countertops with backsplash, and the experience was excellent. She makes the whole process and the deal so easy, and she’s always professional, honest, and a pleasure to work with. I’ve worked with her in the past, continue to work with her today, and will definitely work with her again in the future.
The staff were very friendly and ready to assist you in getting the best possible results
They were able to help me refix my stainless steel undermounted sink to a granite countertop. I had been searching for 6 months to find someone to fix my sink. Plumbers can't/won't do the job. Other countertop companies said to just contact the company that installed the countertop, but that doesn't help when you bought the house 3 years after it was installed. Like how are people supposed to know that?!? I went to Lowe's and home Depot for a referral or to even buy a new sink if I had to, but they have no contracts in the area. AGF surfaces got the job done quickly, professionally and at the price they quoted me. The customer service staff were great as well and I was able to text them. I will ONLY recommend them going forward to anyone!!
AGF Surfaces was recommended to us, and overall we had a great experience. From the start, Lorrayne was incredibly friendly and provided a quote very quickly, which we really appreciated. The entire project, from the initial call to installation was completed within about three weeks, even during the holidays, which was impressive. Alejandra was also wonderful to work with when it came to scheduling and payment, both were smooth and stress-free. The only downside was that we wish there had been more communication before our cabinets were cut. That said, the final result turned out well, and overall we’re happy with the work. We would recommend AGF Surfaces to others.
AGF was a great company to have install counters and an island countertops. Sara was very communicative throughout the process as well as dealing with Brett which was extremely easy and he was always readily available to answer any and all questions. I highly recommend this company!
