Creative Painters 39 yrs in Business

Chris Pino still paints with a brush and a roller. "Old time brush and roller Painter, rather than just spraying" is how a homeowner put it in a July 2024 review, adding that he was careful not to make a mess and cleaned up at the end of each day. Several other customers mention that same end-of-day cleanup. Creative Painters works out of Worcester, and its own site says 39 years in business across Worcester County, Central Massachusetts and the Boston suburbs, doing interior and exterior painting and wallpaper stripping. The Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration behind it, #181876, is active, with Christopher Pino as the holder of record. Google's 45 ratings average 5 stars; Angi's 56 sit at 4.9. Exteriors are what most customers describe. In an August 2026 review a couple wrote that their large ranch house "was badly in need of a good paint job" and came back painted and cleaned up; a June 2026 review credits Chris and Claudio with the prep — sanding and minor wood repairs — on an exterior job. Two August 2024 reviews land on the same habit: when weather moved the start or finish dates, he told them. Indoors the jobs get fussier. A December 2022 customer had old wallpaper stripped and a bedroom-office painted, and mentions paint samples brushed onto the wall so the colors could be judged in different light. A May 2024 review describes him tracing a ceiling stain to a water mark and fixing it, and in a January 2023 review a homeowner brought him in after a builder's painter refused to finish a punch list. Old buildings recur: trim on a 100-plus-year-old house and garage in a July 2021 account, a large old barn and front porch in June 2023. People come back. A January 2024 review is from a customer whose upstairs bedrooms Chris painted in 2013, and who called him first when the bathrooms, family room, kitchen and basement needed doing. The credentials sit on the company's own site, in its own words: insured, Lead-Safe Certified, work warranted. Angi adds power washing and light carpentry to the service list and shows Super Service Awards for 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018. If your house needs work before the paint — bare wood, failing trim, wallpaper to come off — this is a sensible call, and the small stuff still gets done; a December 2024 review is about patching wall holes left by a TV. Ask what the warranty covers, ask to see the Lead-Safe certification, and say up front if you want power washing or light carpentry in the quote.
