A 2026 customer with a very old home in Milford needed an external hose bib installed and said two others refused to even try before Alan came to the home, said he could do it and gave a price. That 2026 customer said the installation was quick, clean and timely, and that they were charged exactly what was quoted. In a 2015 review, a customer said Alan Ruane re-set three toilets after the bathrooms were tiled, replaced the faucets and taps on two sinks, replaced a shower rough-in valve and fixed a leaking sink. That 2015 customer said two other plumbers had said there was insufficient room for the rough-in valve, and Alan worked out a way to get it done. A 2018 customer said Alan came over to give a quote for a rear spigot and was able to do the work right away. A 2018 customer said AJR came out the very next morning. When that 2018 customer asked for an estimate to replace the main valve from the street, he said to call the water company because it would be covered by their Pipe Safe plan. A 2020 customer said he stayed all day until a complicated job was done because they had only one bathroom, then sanitized everything.
