Three electricians quoted a May 2026 customer for an EV charger and whole-home surge protection. George Albee's price came in $1,800 under the next one and $2,900 under the third, for the same work. Customers keep telling versions of that story: a January 2023 customer priced a larger provider first, a July 2025 customer had been paying bigger companies more for less, and in October 2023 a large southern New Hampshire electrical company sent a customer to George because its own wait was four months. Albee Electrical Services is a Milford electrician working residential and commercial jobs across Amherst, Bedford, Brookline, Hollis, Hudson, Litchfield, Londonderry, Merrimack, Nashua, Salem, Windham and Wilton. George Albee owns it, and his wife Nicole handles the scheduling. The company describes itself as licensed and insured, covering repairs and upgrades, new construction and remodel wiring, generators, EV charging, pool and hot tub wiring and commercial lighting. The Better Business Bureau lists it as an LLC about three years in business, not accredited and unrated for want of information. The work runs from a bathroom fan to a whole house. An April 2024 customer had a panel replaced: quote given during the visit, finished in under the four hours quoted, and billed lower than the estimate. A March 2024 customer had in-ceiling lights fitted in nearly every room and the garage fluorescents swapped for LEDs. In October 2023, an in-law apartment was wired for a stackable washer-dryer and an electric range, with the site visit on the day of the call and the quote that night. A November 2024 business had new outlets run through its premises. Patience comes up as well. An August 2023 customer's pool installation slipped week after week for nearly two months and he worked around every delay. A January 2024 customer was walked through choosing a generator before it went in. When half a house lost power in a storm in August 2026, the owner searched, read the reviews and called him out. For a Milford-area homeowner who would rather have the owner on the job than a crew dispatched from a big shop, this is that kind of outfit. Expect the quote at the visit — several customers describe getting it on the spot — and call early, because at least one larger competitor was quoting four-month waits when it passed work his way.
