Alexander Tree Service

One recent job shows the range: a customer said Alexander Tree Service removed a large oak, ground the stump, deadwooded a maple and trimmed an encroaching oak before planting a maple to replace the big oak, all in less than two days. That customer said the oak was bucked up to wood stove size and huge chunks were moved to another part of the property, without damage, for splitting. The company describes itself on its website as serving the central Vermont and Greater Burlington area with tree removal and pruning, and says it has been in business 15 years. A recent customer said Cal got the job done at fair pricing. A 2024 customer said a problem tree was taken down the day after they called. A 2023 customer said they cut down a 90 foot tree that was threatening a commercial building, and that they were not the least expensive of three quotes; that customer said Calvin, the owner, quoted the project himself. A 2023 HomeAdvisor customer said they took down large trees in tight spaces by power lines and cleaned up the site. A 2023 customer said Cal and his crew removed 4 trees and 4 stumps. A 2020 customer hired them to pull about 90 pines out of their woods and said draft horses pulled the logs out. A 2020 customer with a split cherry tree said Cal came to give an estimate the evening after they got in touch, and the work was done two days later, one day early.
