Its stated service area includes Essex, Burlington, Colchester, Jericho, Hinesburg, Richmond and Milton. A recent customer walked the property with John to plan the work, then a crew of about five winched one tree out by the roots and came to the door to let the customer know when it happened. A recent customer had a few very large pine and maple trees taken down and a large wooded patch of invasive plants cleared across from the house. A recent customer says the crew cleaned up after the trees were removed and backfilled where the stumps were. Westford Provisions in Westford wrote that the team heavily pruned and removed dead limbs from the maple trees that shade its ice cream window, while the business stayed open. A 2024 customer said Pat helped work out how to prune large trees without permanently damaging them. A 2024 customer said the call was returned within a day, a quote followed a few days later, and Max and Hayden cut and shaped two rhododendrons within a week. A 2024 customer said John came promptly to grind two stumps. A 2023 customer said the company removed a couple of trees with 6 inches of snow in the front yard, moved a car that was in the way of where a tree had to land, and came back the same day to haul the rest. Jonathan at Heritage Tree Care was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. I was very impressed with him and the crew. They worked quickly and efficiently the entire day. Almost more important was their attitude, all of them had a positive attitude that made you feel like they wanted to be there to help solve a problem. They did an excellent job cleaning up after the trees were removed and backfilling where the stumps were. I couldn't recommend them more.

John and his team are knowledgeable professionals who do fantastic work for a great price (best quote I found!) When I walked the property with John, he listened to my concerns and worked with me to come up with a plan for our trees. A week or so after we accepted, we got the call, and a crew of about five of the nicest guys you'll ever meet showed up at our house. (They were actually able to winch one tree out by the roots. I let them know that I was keen to see that and they actually came to the door to notify me when the event took place!) Neat, careful efficient, pleasant, and all at a great price. What more could you want? I'm calling Heritage first from now on!
Can't say enough great things about John and his crew! They were the first to get back to us when getting quotes to get rid of a giant tree on our property that needed to be taken down urgently. They were the most reasonable and the most personable. Excellent service and very efficient. 100% recommend.
John and his staff were very professional and polite. They did a very good job. They completely cleaned up every last branch. I highly recommend them.
