Alfio LoFaro Masonry

Alfio Lofaro has been doing masonry and home-improvement work in Lawrence since 2001, and today operates as Lofaro Masonry and Custom Baths, LLC — a one-person shop where Alfio is the sole employee, working brick, block and stone masonry alongside bathroom tile work, patios, retaining walls and outdoor kitchens. The written record is thin but consistently strong: four reviews on file, and the recurring theme is granite and stone stepwork — treads, risers, walkways and stairs — described as precise and carefully finished. A 2018 Google review called the work simply 'amazing.' BBB has accredited the business since 2015 and rates it A+, though BBB is explicit that the letter grade doesn't factor in customer reviews. A 2026 Nextdoor post from a neighbor asking for a natural-stone tiler for a walk-in shower got Alfio's name and number in reply. Worth knowing before booking: this is a small, owner-operated outfit that only takes cash or check — no card payments. The LLC itself is a recent 2025 re-registration of what BBB's own file shows has been a running sole proprietorship since 2001, so the paperwork is new even though the work isn't.
