All Energy Solar designs and installs solar, battery storage and EV charging systems, and its website says it handles the permitting and incentive paperwork itself. The company says it has been installing solar since 2009 and counts more than 11,539 projects to date. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 175144, held by All Energy Solar Inc, is active on the state registry. On Google it carries 4.8 stars from 303 ratings. A 2026 customer said the project manager filed a plan that would not pass inspection, the panels took 349 days to become operational, and missing the federal tax credit left the project $10,521 over the quote. A 2026 customer wrote that the contract dropped the consumption monitoring promised in the proposal and that late permits and engineering documents rejected by Eversource delayed the project by months; that customer added that corporate paid for lost production on the delays where the company was at fault. A 2025 customer described a cash purchase of a 10kwh residential system that took just over 4 months, less than estimated, with Carlo sending updates by phone and email every 2 weeks and the back office handling permit and interconnection paperwork. A 2024 customer in Alexandria, NH said the company installed an Enphase solar and battery system designed to work with a Generac generator. A 2022 customer who built their own house said the company engineered and installed a system that covers minisplits, household electric and an electric-car charging station. A 2021 customer wrote that the company keeps its own crews rather than contracting installers and electricians, and that project manager Carlo Maloni coordinated National Grid approvals, the city inspectors and the Massachusetts SMART program. On Reddit, a January 2026 r/massachusetts commenter called All Energy solid, with all the work done in house rather than subcontracted out, and a June 2025 r/quincyma commenter who went with the company about a year and a half earlier said they can't recommend it enough. A 2025 customer said the company quoted $21,000 to remove panels from a roof that now needed repair and refused responsibility. A 2025 customer said the price of the job was raised 20%. A 2025 customer said sales calls, texts and emails continued after asking the company to stop. A 2022 customer said calls about a failed inverter went to an answering machine and no one called back.

Signed a contract for 90 day installation of solar panels on 6/19/2025. Project manager filed a plan that would NOT pass inspection so the process needed to be repeated. Installation of our panels began 5/22.2026. It took 349 days for our panels to be operational and 371 days for the battery. Missed out on the federal tax credit so our project cost us $10,521 more than quoted. All Energy Solar made a mistake and we paid the price.
AES service was great from beginning to end. Sales, technicians, project managers were all competent, responsive and kind.
Make sure you read the contract writing line by line and ensure you are getting what's in your proposal. I was given a proposal with consumption and production monitoring and when they sent the contract over it only included production monitoring. Consumption CT's were not installed and to install them after the fact you are likely looking at an additional $500-1000. The entire execution of my project was a nightmare. Quite frankly I don't know what the project coordinators do on a daily basis as my project was delayed significantly due to permits not being submitted on time, engineering documents being kicked back and denied by Eversource 2 weeks before installation was supposed to begin. Despite my project being delayed by MONTHS, there was no priority associated with my project after paying in full, and I had to constantly check on status updates as no one at All Energy Solar was. The one silver lining was corporate was able to compensate me for lost production costs on delays where AES was at fault. Document everything and thoroughly check your contract and compare it to your proposal.
All Energy Solar's experience has been night and day from my original installer. All Energy being the "day" experience: co-operation, communication, compromise-ability and clarity. A specific professional assigned to me smoothed out the couple bumps we ran into in the process. They explained every detail in basic language to my constant questions. This was a large project (for us) done at a time when multiple homes were trying to push their projects through because tax incentives were ending. All Energy acted with integrity, but they also appeared to be spread thin, however understandably. Our project took longer than we'd (All Energy included) anticipated but we are happy with the outcome.
