All Energy Solar runs its Massachusetts operations out of Westfield, handling the full arc of a home solar job — design, permitting, installation, battery storage and EV-charging add-ons — for homeowners and businesses across the state. On its own site the company says it has been installing solar since 2009, putting it among the area's longer-running solar shops, with more than 11,500 projects and 333,000-plus panels installed to date; it also states NABCEP-certified installers and SEIA membership among its credentials. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, verified against the state registry under All Energy Solar Inc. It also carries a BBB A+ accreditation and 4.8-star averages on Google (303 ratings), Angi and HomeAdvisor. What repeat customers describe is a company built around a named project manager and salesperson who stay in touch through what can be a months-long job. A 2024 Google review credits project manager Carlo and salesperson David with steady two-week updates through a design complicated by an unusually shaded lot, and a 2025 review from a Boston customer says the crew handled a slate roof and shifting permitting rules smoothly. Reddit posters echo this: a 2023 commenter described a low-pressure sales process and professional installers who even filed the customer's tax-credit paperwork, and another the same week called All Energy Solar a very well-run, well-staffed company with good communication. That said, a run of one- and two-star Google reviews from 2025 and 2026 describe a rougher experience once a contract is signed. A mid-2026 review says a project manager's initial plan failed inspection and had to be redone, stretching one install to 349 days before the panels went live. An April 2026 review says the signed paperwork left out consumption-monitoring equipment the original proposal had promised. A late-2025 review says a customer's roof fell into disrepair after installation and All Energy Solar quoted $21,000 to remove the panels while denying responsibility, and reviews from January and August 2025 describe repeated, unwanted sales calls and texts after being asked to stop. A 2023 New Hampshire poster who said they used the company called the craftsmanship and customer service poor and said they regretted the choice. Given how long and involved a full solar install is — and the split between customers who praise the coordination and those who ran into delays or pushback afterward — it's worth asking a project manager for a written installation timeline up front and confirming exactly what equipment, including any monitoring hardware, is listed in the signed contract before work begins.

“I went with All Energy Solar for my home about a year and a half ago and can't recommend them enough. I found them on EnergySage (would also recommend that site). At the time, they used the best panels of the installers I was looking at. Their sales people were helpful and engaged without being pushy and the installers were great. Last summer I had to call them for a minor service issue and they were easy to deal with there as well. Only drawback is that their office in MA is central/western part of the state. Even so, their installers/techs were good about factoring that into their scheduling, calling if there was traffic, etc.”
Signed a contract for 90 day installation of solar panels on 6/19/2025. Project manager filed a plan that would NOT pass inspection so the process needed to be repeated. Installation of our panels began 5/22.2026. It took 349 days for our panels to be operational and 371 days for the battery. Missed out on the federal tax credit so our project cost us $10,521 more than quoted. All Energy Solar made a mistake and we paid the price.
AES service was great from beginning to end. Sales, technicians, project managers were all competent, responsive and kind.
Make sure you read the contract writing line by line and ensure you are getting what's in your proposal. I was given a proposal with consumption and production monitoring and when they sent the contract over it only included production monitoring. Consumption CT's were not installed and to install them after the fact you are likely looking at an additional $500-1000. The entire execution of my project was a nightmare. Quite frankly I don't know what the project coordinators do on a daily basis as my project was delayed significantly due to permits not being submitted on time, engineering documents being kicked back and denied by Eversource 2 weeks before installation was supposed to begin. Despite my project being delayed by MONTHS, there was no priority associated with my project after paying in full, and I had to constantly check on status updates as no one at All Energy Solar was. The one silver lining was corporate was able to compensate me for lost production costs on delays where AES was at fault. Document everything and thoroughly check your contract and compare it to your proposal.
All Energy Solar's experience has been night and day from my original installer. All Energy being the "day" experience: co-operation, communication, compromise-ability and clarity. A specific professional assigned to me smoothed out the couple bumps we ran into in the process. They explained every detail in basic language to my constant questions. This was a large project (for us) done at a time when multiple homes were trying to push their projects through because tax incentives were ending. All Energy acted with integrity, but they also appeared to be spread thin, however understandably. Our project took longer than we'd (All Energy included) anticipated but we are happy with the outcome.
