The job was done well and within budget

They put a new roof on our house. They were efficient and did an excellent job cleaning up after completion. My only issue was the amount of shingles delivered to our house, even after the normal amount considered as a waste factor on the job was over 25% more than needed. They used 71 bundles to complete the job but had 94 bundles delivered. Then, they stated that we were never charged for 94 bundles. This made no sense to me. So, although they did a great job, I would recommend that any future customer get a detailed quote to include the amount of materials needed. Shame on me for not getting that when we got the quote. That was the only issue and the fact that the explanation received from them made no sense and was not very polite to me as the customer.

We hired Winter Hill to replace our roof, including removing 2 layers of shingles. They were the most thorough about understanding the job requirements upfront, offered the best initial price (others came into the same ballpark only when pressed), and had the strongest reviews on 3rd party sites. The job started exactly on schedule, the crew of installers did a great job (including with clean up) and there were no unpleasant surprises. When an issue did arise (initially the wrong color shingles were delivered), they addressed it to our satisfaction.
