That customer says they were told "We don't do inside" when asking about interior trim. The same 2026 review says Luis came within a week to add missing glue when water poured through the end of a gutter.
Hands down the best roofing company in the Pittsburgh area. Their work is perfect, and Louis is phenomenal to work with. He consistently takes the time to thoroughly explain every step of the process, making the entire project seamless and stress free. Highly recommended for anyone seeking reliable, high-quality roofing services.
I can't say enough about Luis and his crew they had my whole roof stripped and shingles in one day amazing and left my yard immaculate. Luis answers questions and calls promptly. The price was great. I had 10 estimates done his was the best and he is the only one who even got on the roof to look. I have referred him to at least 10 friends who have used him also and were very pleased. You won't go wrong using him.
Superb service, great staff. Highly recommended!
I waited some time before posting this because I wanted to feel the warmth of the house. I hired All Star Home Improvement to replace my roof and the siding on my home. The roof is wonderful, Luis said I needed a roof vent in order to remove the stuffy feeling in my home in the summer. And I have to say, Wonderful call on that. The area I work in is much more livable and cooler. The roof replacement took maybe 3 days from start to finish. They came early and stayed late to get it done. I'm very happy about the roof. I'm not so happy with the siding. The exterior of my home is beautiful, I got the siding I wanted and I love the color and the look. I have received lots of compliments from the people in town. Great! I have issues with the work done to my windows, they removed the windows from the house, several windows were left on the ground in front of my home for weeks, while the work was being done in the late spring early summer. Okay windows needed to be removed in order to properly install the siding, no worries but leaving first floor window unsecured for a weekend, and not completely covered was a big issue, I have a cat! and had to jerry rig the window to stop the cat from getting out and people from crawling in. So, once they started putting the windows back into the house, I asked about the interior trim and was told "We don't do inside". I was told my home would be warm, well, it's not. The first floor of my home is at least 20 degrees colder than the second floor and slightly warmer than outside. I sit on the couch to watch TV and feel a breeze blow across me. I went to hang my Christmas decorations and notice that caulk was not use where there are gaps between the window and the frame and some of the caulk that was used has cracked and split, hence, the breeze. I was also told they would pick up the nails, yeah, that didn't happen and if it did, not good enough. I had to pick up lots of nails before I could let the dog in the backyard. I'm still picking up nails (at least 3 quart containers from 2 sides of the house) and I have a large magnet I used before I start working in that area of my garden. The pictures I have included is from ONE WINDOW and I have 8 more like it on the first floor and 4 more on the second floor. I have had the backdoor trim of the barn repaired/replaced as the door was improperly hung so it didn't close and lock. They removed the staircase (a simple one) and said they would replace them, yup, that never happened, had to have my handyman place the stairs and repair the door and trim. More money on top of the over $90K I already paid to have my 200 year old home returned to what it was. The crew was nice and polite but it was hard to communicate with them without Luis. I had a problem with the water pouring thru the end of one of the gutters, called Luis and he came within a week to add the missing glue. It's all good now. I have to say Luis was very responsive during this process and he did communicate when they would be here and wouldn't. I have no problems with the communication and when I brought something up he did address it right away, as long as it was within his purview. I have to say, their roofing skills are very good but their siding skills leave much to be desired.
I’m very happy with my new roof! All Star did a great job. Kept me updated throughout the whole process. The team worked hard and was very professional
