I bought a home solar system in Puerto Rico from AltE and things went great. The salesperson, Blanca, was very knowledgeable and helpful; the equipment was easy to pick up at the warehouse, and system assembly went very smoothly. Prices were comparable to other local vendors (who could not match altE equipment availability). June 2024 they seem to be out of business. Not answering tech support. They developed a battery line which had issues I think: KiloVault. Mine have begun to fail one after another three years after purchase. Most of their operations are permanently closed, but some vestige seems to remain and their website is still up. Approach with caution! They stranded a lot of customers with poorly vetted and defective products.

I bought a $35,000 system from this company, and have been trying unsuccessfully for over a month to have them return my call to answer a question I have on a particular function. I have left detailed messages with the phone receptionist at least four times. Please shop somewhere else
