A recent customer of Ambient Insulations said Mike responded promptly, came out for an inspection, walked through the types of insulation he recommended for different areas of the basement, and did the work within a week of the first reach-out at a price the customer called fair. The company says it has provided insulation services for over 10 years, including spray foam, blown-in and batt insulation. A 2026 customer wrote that after a frozen pipe there was no insulation around the rim joists; that customer said Mike removed the old insulation around the basement perimeter, replaced it with rockwool, used canned foam around the edges and swapped the ceiling's plastic barrier for insulweb netting. The same 2026 customer said the cellar was swept clean after the job. A 2025 customer said Mike and his team removed the old insulation, installed new baffles, air-sealed the attic and put in fresh insulation in one day, and that the attic's ventilation and the heating in the living space improved. A 2024 customer wrote that attic insulation covered in squirrel droppings was removed and new insulation was installed above code. A 2025 customer said Mike completed the job in well under a day, worked around the customer's belongings, took away all waste materials and helped carry things back into the garage. A 2024 customer said the quote was slightly higher than the two others they obtained, chose Ambient for the ease of communication, and said the work was completed one week after the quote arrived. A 2026 customer said that after an assessment visit they were told a quote would come within two weeks, and they never heard back. A recent customer said Mike had to come back to rectify some issues, some of which the customer called their own mistakes, and that he was good about all of it and answered a lot of questions.
