In an August 2023 review, a Stoneham homeowner described handing Anthony's Hardwood Floors a small house of very old floors — tons of cracks, uneven areas — and getting them sanded and finished in three days. Tom and a helper did the work, the customer went with a matte poly for a light white oak appearance, and the review calls the result just about a perfect job. The business runs out of Revere and does hardwood sanding and installation. On Google it shows 5 stars from one rating. A reasonable call for an old-house floor that is far from flat. Settle the finish in writing before booking — sheen changes the look of white oak a great deal — and ask how many days the rooms will be out of use and who will be doing the sanding.
Tom and helper did a wonderful job on our small home in Stoneham. They were done in 3 days and did just about a perfect job on floors that are very old with tons of cracks and uneven areas. We went with a matte poly because we wanted the light white oak appearance.
