Beacon Hill Remodeling is a Revere-based renovation contractor whose reviews center on one person: Eddy — also written as Edilson, Eddie, and Edy across different reviewers, evidently the same owner working hands-on on every job. Across dated reviews running from 2021 through 2023, homeowners describe him tiling bathrooms and basements, building a floating deck, replacing hurricane-damaged fence sections, hanging cabinet hardware, and — in a 2023 review — gutting and rebuilding an entire clinic space on a tight deadline to reopen on schedule. Several reviewers from 2022 and 2023 describe him providing a quote and sticking to it, and staying communicative about what was happening day to day. Not every account is positive. In an August 2025 review, a customer described a very different experience: a crew that was chronically late or didn't show up at all, work that was rushed with uneven walls and finishes that looked cheap despite paying for higher-quality materials, and calls and messages that went unreturned. Google shows 4.7 stars from 13 ratings, spanning 2021 to 2025. Worth asking directly about current availability and scheduling before booking, given the gap between the earlier detailed praise and the 2025 account of missed appointments.

I had one of the worst experiences with this construction company and I would never recommend them to anyone The project started off with promises of professionalism and quality work but quickly turned into a nightmare The crew was constantly late many days they did not show up at all and when they did the work was rushed and sloppy Basic details were ignored measurements were off walls were uneven and finishes looked cheap despite me paying for higher quality materials Communication was also a huge problem calls and messages were rarely returned and whenever I did manage to speak with someone they gave excuses instead of solutions The project was supposed to be finished in a set timeline but ended up dragging on for months longer than expected and even then it was not fully completed I ended up having to hire another company to fix their mistakes which cost me more time money and stress This company is unorganized unprofessional and careless with their customers trust If you value your money and peace of mind stay away from them.
We hired Beacon Hill Remodeling for a bathroom and basement remodel at our new home. Eddy was always very responsive and communicative throughout the whole process, and was upfront and transparent with us about costs and timelines. He also went above and beyond to ensure we were completely satisfied with the job. Eddy and his team were hardworking and efficient, sticking to the agreed upon timeframes. He also met with us at the store to browse fixtures and tile options, sharing his experiences and photos of other projects he had worked on. We were very happy to have selected Beacon Hill Remodeling for the job!
Eddy and his team did an incredible job on a very tight schedule we had to open the clinic. The new space was left like a war zone by the first tenant. Everything inside floor to ceiling had to be renovated. We had a new plan designed, and Eddy went right to work. He also helped choosing the right laminate for the floor as this is a high traffic environment, as well as other materials. We were able to move right on schedule! At every step of the project Eddy and his team were very responsive and polite, accommodating any changes necessary, and keeping us informed on any issues and progress. Patients always comment on how beautiful the new clinic is, we are so excited! We will certainly be using Beacon Hill Remodeling again, now for our summer house up in New England. Thanks for the great work guys!!
We hired Eddie to remove old tile on the floor of our family room and install 300sf of new tile. He had to remove two layers of old flooring before installing the new tile. He did a beautiful job! He also removed a door to our laundry closet and installed two doors - doing all custom work to make them fit and work properly. He installed handles on all of our kitchen cabinets and caulked all the gaps between the ceiling and walls, making it just perfect. In addition, he replaced 6 sections of fencing that had been destroyed in the last hurricane. And the most impressive part is that he drove 250 miles (it was our second house), stayed in a hotel, and completed all the work in 4 days! Eddie is a magician with remodeling and he makes everything beautiful. We look forward to our next project with Eddie. It was a total pleasure at a reasonable price. He gets our highest recommendation!
Edilson did an incredible job on our bathroom remodel. He was a very hard worker and was always on time, clear with his next steps, and communicative around what went well and what things he was going to work on the following day. He provided us with a quote and stuck to it. He also contracted with a plumber to upgrade our plumbing and it was seamless. He is reasonable and reliable. We are so thrilled with the final product and would recommend him to any of our friends and family for future renovations.
