The four write-ups on Anthony Scivetti's BuildZoom page are not about a Marblehead home contractor. Every one of them discusses Total Facility Solution, a commercial service company - and the clearest statement of that comes from the business's own side. A January 2023 entry posted by an employee opens 'I work for total' and describes it as 'a commercial service company' with hundreds of large Fortune 500 clients. A 2020 write-up from a trade contact puts it more bluntly still: 'This company only works for large commercial clients.' That is the whole read. The listing sits against a personal name at 15 Adams Rd in Marblehead, but the work being described is commercial facility services, and the only two permits attached are $50 Boston Fire Department smoke-detector certificates from July 2013 at a Hanover Ave apartment - inspection paperwork rather than construction. Two of the four entries are serious complaints, and both deserve stating plainly. In a March 2016 account, a customer wrote that the company billed more than double the quote, collected payment before the job was finished on the strength of a 2% discount, never came back, and left a subcontractor asking to be paid directly after three weeks on site. In October 2020, another wrote that the company 'lied to get our business then billed us for work never performed.' The 2023 employee entry disputes both, saying the firm has no HVAC division and hires no subcontractors at all. BuildZoom averages those four entries to 3.0, and that number is doing very little work: it blends two complaints, one recommendation from a trade contact rather than a homeowner, and one rebuttal written from inside the company. The newest customer account on the page dates from 2020. On credentials, BuildZoom lists a Rhode Island residential contractor registration, #29325, under his name, with an expiration date of 1 September 2011 and a status it reports as inactive and at one point cancelled - an out-of-state registration that lapsed fifteen years ago, and a directory's account of it rather than a check with the board. A homeowner looking for flooring or remodeling in Marblehead should look elsewhere: by the company's own description this is a commercial provider, and the two customer accounts on file are both billing disputes.

I work for total and I want to say we have been in business over 15 years and we are a commercial service company. We have 100's of large Fortune 500 companies that we work for. I was responding to the 2 comments listed. The one review said we did hvac work and never did the work. This would not be correct since we have no hvac division. The other review said we over billed double for the proposal and we didn't finish the work. Also a sub wanted to get paid direct. This is not accurate. We would never expect payment if the work was not completed and our contracts are written that way and we do not hire subs. We are a self performing company. If anyone has an issue please call our service dept. thank you

Unlicensed, unscrupulous & untrustworthy. His Company Total Facility Solution billed more than double the quote (which we mistakenly paid before job was completed because of 2% discount offer. Then we never saw them again. Unfinished job and to top it off one of his sub contractors asked us to pay him directly because after working 3 weeks onsite Scivetti never paid him! No ethics & criminal behavior, he disgusts me & I'm thrilled I'll never have to see him again.
