AOS Drywall

AOS Drywall is a Chelsea, Massachusetts business that homeowners hire for drywall hanging, plastering, and ceiling repair — the Better Business Bureau lists it as an A+ rated, non-accredited business now 11 years in operation under president Alesandro Dossantos, and BuildZoom lists an active Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor license (#193513) for the company, verified as of March 2026. The written record runs nearly a decade, and the same things keep coming up. In a 2024 review, a homeowner described the crew arriving early, keeping the work area tidy, and cleaning up fully once the ceiling work was done, with good communication throughout from Alesandro himself. A 2021 review recalled "an outstanding plastering job" replacing badly damaged ceilings across multiple rooms, done at a good price and on schedule. Reviews from 2015 through 2017 describe the same pattern on smaller jobs — a prompt quote, protected floors and walls, quiet and detail-focused work, and one job that specifically involved fixing work another contractor had started. Not every account is glowing: a February 2020 review called the crew fast, friendly, and fairly priced, but flagged that trash cleanup and finishing details weren't fully followed through on — the same note that both Angi's and HomeAdvisor's own profile summaries call out. HomeAdvisor and Angi both show 4.7 stars from 31 ratings, and Thumbtack shows 4.8 stars from 30 ratings with 45 projects and Top Pro status — a consistent, strong showing across all three platforms. For anyone hiring for a drywall or plastering job — a full room, a repaired ceiling, or a fix for someone else's unfinished work — this is a company with a long, largely consistent track record. Given the one dated complaint about cleanup follow-through, it's worth confirming with the crew up front what final cleanup and finishing touches are included.
