Boston Stone Restoration

Boston Stone Restoration is the company people call when a stone surface looks past saving — etched marble counters, a kitchen island thought beyond repair, an old seal that never held. A June 2026 Google reviewer said their Rainforest Brown kitchen island, improperly sealed for 20-plus years, was better than new in a matter of hours. Another that month said an island they thought was beyond repair came out beautiful, and a July 2026 customer said the crew covered the whole work area and had the countertops ready in a few hours. The Boston company says it polishes, repairs, seals and cleans marble, slate, travertine, terrazzo and other natural stone floors, countertops and tile. Google shows 5 stars from 169 ratings, and customers have written about it from 2021 to 2026. Customers describe Paul, the owner, visiting before the work: in a February 2026 review, a customer said he came a week early to assess cracks and dings on ten-year-old Carrara counters and applied a "mud" treatment to pull out stains before a two-person crew honed and sealed them. A March 2025 customer said staining and etching were removed from a 20-year-old crema marfil shower. In a June 2024 review, a customer who had Anti-Etch applied to marble counters said they had to point out areas needing more polishing and re-caulking, and that the company's president called them afterward to ask what he could do to address it. A November 2024 reviewer found the honed granite refinish pricey at $40 per square foot. The company's BBB page carries an A+.
