The company is a BBB Accredited Business with an A+ grade, and its Angi and HomeAdvisor listings describe it as veteran-owned — though those two profiles show the identical six reviews and text, so treat them as one account rather than two. Not every recent account is glowing. A review posted in September 2026 said the owner missed a scheduled initial pool-cleaning appointment and never returned a text or voicemail, forcing the customer to find another company. That complaint isn't an outlier: Thumbtack's own breakdown shows a third of its nine ratings at one star, a notably higher negative share than the 17% showing on Angi and HomeAdvisor.
