Arbor Technologies

A 2026 customer whose old tree split in a high wind and landed on the roof met Leo St. Peter, the owner of Arbor Technologies, who was at the house within an hour of contact and brought his crane late the same day. The Waterville tree company holds a 4.8-star Google average from 194 ratings and an A+ from the Better Business Bureau. Its website lists 24/7 emergency service and a service area running from Belgrade and Oakland to Augusta, Gardiner and Auburn. A recent customer with an ancient maple near the house, outbuildings and railroad tracks said Leo brought in his boomtruck, worked under the power line and brought the tree down with no complications. A customer who had Leo look at at-risk trees said that when they came down they had large internal rotting cavities. For a hotel, the work had to happen at certain times so guests were not disturbed; that reviewer said Leo was able to accommodate it and took out a good amount of trees and their trunks in 2 days of work. A recent customer wrote that Leo came on a Sunday for a quote, and 3 workers cut down two tall trees, trimmed branches along the roof side and pruned two large trees. A 2023 customer said Leo arrived in less than 90 minutes during a storm, cut a tree off the roof and put a tarp over the hole. A 2025 customer said Leo cut down 8 trees, heavily pruned several others and cut up the usable wood for firewood. A 2024 customer said Leo gave an estimate to clear an area and grind stumps, promised to be back in 2-3 weeks, put it off a few times and then stopped responding to messages. A 2024 customer wrote: "Left me hanging never showed up at all."
