In an October 2023 Angi review, a customer wrote that Fernando and a crew of five men felled five very large trees, one of them an 80-foot partially dead pine, with their climber trimming large branches first so structures on the property would not be damaged; the crew cut the trunks into wood-stove lengths, stacked them by the woodpile and raked and blew the lawn clear. Saldana Tree Services & Landscaping says it has been in business four years, serves Oakland, Waterville, Augusta, Fairfield, Gardiner and Winthrop, and offers free estimates and 24/7 emergency service. It holds 4.9 stars from 16 Angi ratings. In July 2025 a Google reviewer wrote that one of their trees had been hit by lightning and cracked down the middle, and that the crew came fast, assessed the damage, explained it clearly and cleaned up afterward. In a November 2025 Angi review, a customer wrote that the crew cut down one large pine and pruned two others, cleaned up throughout and charged a price the customer thought was really fair. An April 2024 Angi reviewer said the crew showed up on time to clear a significant amount of snapped-off limbs and debris from a recent storm, along with the yard and street frontage. In a July 2024 Angi review, a customer wrote that Fernando came out to look at their tree cutting needs, gave a fair price and did the work in a timely manner. In November 2023 another Angi customer wrote that Fernando and his team worked carefully around a newly planted bed near the tree removal site and cleaned up even the sawdust. In an October 2023 Angi review, a customer who gave four stars wrote that the crew left a few pieces of log but came back within the next few days to remove them, and that the workers left trash from their lunch around the playhouse and slide area.
