A recent customer says Dan sprayed mold in the attic, repainted the bathroom walls, ceiling and doors, and vented the bathroom exhaust fan to the outdoors over three consecutive days, with daily updates on progress, his hours and material expenses. Along the way he put a new roller on a sliding closet door and snaked the toilet, asking before doing either. I'm happy to give Dan a 5-star review. He was easy to work with, pleasant, and on time. The project didn't drag on for weeks - it was done over 3 consecutive days. Dan kept me updated daily on the progress, his hours, and material expenses - no big surprise at the end! He just finished a bunch of jobs for me, including spraying mold in my attic, repainting the bathroom walls and ceiling and doors, venting my bathroom exhaust fan to the outdoors, and remounting the bathroom fan. He saw a few little extra things that needed to be done, like putting a new roller on my sliding closet door, securing a basement railing, and even snaked my toilet for me! I appreciated him noticing these things and asking if I wanted them taken care of before doing them. I am very pleased with the impeccable paint job and also with the way he cleaned up so well at the end of each day. Thanks, Dan! I'll be calling you again!
We hired Dan to install 2 pairs of interior French doors at the suggestion of Kyle at Kelly-Fradet - great recommendation. Dan arrived on time and did a great job. He has great attention to detail and took his time measuring the existing door frames (which were not perfectly square). He was able to make adjustments to each door slab and the end result was outstanding - doors hang evenly. He also modified the doors to include new lever knobs and the doors now stay closed (this was an issue with the prior doors). We would highly recommend Dan if your seeking work from an experienced carpenter for intricate work!
I highly recommend Dan. Great guy, easy to work with. I had one job in mind. Dan asked if he could make a suggestion. We'll, I took his advice and I'm glad I did. I got so much done by taking his advice. Dan' s work ethic is great on time everyday. Communicates what the next day will bring. In the morning he will check with you again to make sure it is correct and will go over any changes with you. I found that to be extremely helpful. Polite easy to work with. I have enjoyed this experience, it was smooth start to finish. Looking forward to spring to have him tackle the next job.
Dan did a great job fixing my mils porch that was sinking from rot below. Had to support the porch above with a lift, so the supporting pole that was causing the sinking was free. He repaired the wood beneath and pulled the 2 bys in back to place. He then replaced the two tongue and groove boards to place so it no longer is a tripping hazard! I did not think this could be done so well, but he did. He also gave me a time frame I did not know if I would be able to paint it, but Dan was able to squeeze it in even a bit sooner so I will be painting it tomorrow! We are very pleased with the workmanship and highly recommend him. He knows his stuff! He does about everything, including kitchens and baths! Does not do roofing. I forgot to take a before pic. to show the sagging that was happening and the disjoined pieces that made it a tripping hazard. WIll try to remember to get an after pic, but without the first, no justice! It was bad! We only wanted a quick, easy fix. He did it efficiently and well! Thanks to Kelly Fradet for the referral! I trust them since they know the various contractors and their work!
Excellent work! We had a major deck repair, he communicated with us throughout the process, was exact on his time frame, and kept us abreast on what needed to be done to fix the deck correctly. 10 stars!
