Sixty-six building permits, and nearly every one is a door or a window — that is Aspect Montage in a sentence. The Swampscott company, run by Oleksandr Zelenenko (the "Alex" who turns up by name in review after review), has built its work around replacing entry doors, patio sliders and windows, plus the cabinet and trim carpentry that goes with them. Typical permit value sits around $4,169, so these are component jobs rather than gut renovations. Angi and HomeAdvisor both publish 4.7 from the same 15 ratings, 93% five-star and 7% one-star. In 2020 and 2021, homeowner after homeowner described clean, on-schedule installs and crews that hauled away their own debris. One 2021 reviewer wrote about a project manager helping pick doors that fit a budget; another, in February 2021, described Aspect being sent by Lowe's to pull out and rebuild a front door and casing another installer had botched. In May 2026 a homeowner described cabinet, trim and backsplash work in a 100-year-old kitchen with uneven floors and walls far from square. The complaint worth reading in full is from December 2024. A customer who bought Pella windows through Lowe's described a crew that left the siding in place, applied foam improperly and skipped shims, then — after Pella inspected the job and a year of back-and-forth — returned in October 2024 without ladders and did not come back in November or December as promised. It is specific, it is about the actual work, and it is the most recent complaint anyone has posted. Two things to weigh. Most of what has been written about this company is old: 13 of the 15 accounts were posted by mid-2021, so the current picture rests on very little. And the licensing is a directory claim rather than something confirmed at the state registry — BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration for the company, alongside an EPA renovation certification it shows as inactive. Its BBB page carries an A+, with no accreditation, no reviews and no complaints. If you want doors, windows, cabinets or trim installed on the North Shore, this is a reasonable call: that is squarely the work people describe. Ask who will actually be on site, check the home improvement contractor registration yourself with the state, and get the return-visit and punch-list terms in writing before anything is ordered.
If I could give Aspect Montage more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Our kitchen renovation was an incredibly challenging project from the start because our 100 year old home came with uneven floors, walls that were far from square, and complications from a previous tile floor installation that had not been leveled properly. Despite all of that, Alex approached every challenge with creativity, patience, and true craftsmanship. The cabinet installation turned out beautifully. Alex worked incredibly hard to make everything fit and flow properly in a space that was anything but straightforward. The trim work and molding details are exceptional and really elevated the entire kitchen. You can tell he takes tremendous pride in his work and pays attention to every detail. Aspect Montage also installed our tile backsplash, and that process was smooth, professional, and beautifully executed from beginning to end. Their communication throughout the project was excellent, and I was consistent
*** See Yelp Reviews *** I purchased new Pella construction windows and installation through Lowe’s in February of 2022. In June of 2022 a crew from Aspect Montage showed up at my house with the windows and began installation. The job was rushed and not done properly (siding was never removed - construction windows, foam not applied properly, insulation tape not applied everywhere, shims not installed). Pella came out and inspected the installation in June of 2024. After over a year of back and forth with Lowe’s, Aspect came out to my house in October of 2024 to fix outstanding issues. They removed interior trim around the windows again, removed old foam which was not properly applied and applied new one. However, again they did not have ladders and could not complete the job. They promised to return in November but did not. Same thing happened in December. I am working with Lowes to get my project completed with a different installer. Do your due diligence before hiring Aspect
The Project Manager, Vlad was very professional and followed up with us on every aspect of getting my sliding patio door replaced. The installation crew was awesome and did an excellent job of completing the work on schedule and it was well-done!! They did a great job and cleaned up afterward. Very happy customer here
I was very lucky to meet Aspect montage experts. They were assembling our new kitchen cabinets. I can't express how proficient and accurate they were. Work was done quick and clean. Team was paying attention to every single detail without cutting angles for speed. I would definitely recommend this professionals and will hire them again for mo other projects
The project: replace old exterior doors at the front and the back of the house. From the beginning to the end it was an amazing experience. The project manager worked with us since the start of the project. He helped us to choose the right doors that fit our needs and budget. He took a good care of order, schedule, and scope of work. The installation team was beyond any expectations. They were on time; the work place was clean, they took care of all the debris. The result is very good. Thank you Aspect Montage team!
