Most of Aspect Montage's work arrives through a big-box store. Homeowners describe the Swampscott company as the crew Lowe's sent — with the doors, with the windows, or to fix another installer's mess — and its permit history reads the same way: 66 filings at a typical value near $4,000, nearly all of them one line, remove the existing door, install the new one, no structural work. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, 199370, is active in the company's own name. The BBB files it as a one-person operation incorporated in November 2019, gives it an A+ grade, and states separately that it is not accredited. What customers praised, they praised for the same two reasons: salvage work and finish. In a February 2021 review a homeowner said Lowe's sent Aspect Montage to assess a badly installed front door and storm door, and the installer pulled the unit, rebuilt the whole casing and reset it. That November another had them strip a botched backsplash, replace the sheetrock and retile it. One installer's name recurs across five years of these accounts — Alex — and in May 2026 a homeowner with a 100-year-old house, uneven floors and walls far from square credited him with making a full cabinet run and its molding fit anyway. The one complaint on file deserves a full read before you book a window job. In December 2024 a customer wrote that Pella windows bought through Lowe's in February 2022 were installed in a rush — siding never removed, foam misapplied, insulation tape and shims left out — that Pella inspected the work in June 2024, and that a remediation visit in October 2024 stalled for want of ladders while return trips promised for November and December never came. They moved the job to a different installer. Two more things to check. The written history skews old: twelve of the fifteen accounts date from 2020 and 2021. And BuildZoom lists this company's EPA renovation certification as inactive and at one point cancelled — worth confirming directly if your house predates 1978, since lead-safe certification governs that work. The right call for door, cabinet and trim installations where fit and finish matter. Confirm registration 199370 with the state, ask to see a current EPA lead-safe certificate, and on a whole-house window job put in writing what finished means and when.

Doors (Interior) Installation and Replacement — If I could give Aspect Montage more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Our kitchen renovation was an incredibly challenging project from the start because our 100 year old home came with uneven floors, walls that were far from square, and complications from a previous tile floor installation that had not been leveled properly. Despite all of that, Alex approached every challenge with creativity, patience, and true craftsmanship. The cabinet installation turned out beautifully. Alex worked incredibly hard to make everything fit and flow properly in a space that was anything but straightforward. The trim work and molding details are exceptional and really elevated the entire kitchen. You can tell he takes tremendous pride in his work and pays attention to every detail. Aspect Montage also installed our tile backsplash, and that process was smooth, professional, and beautifully executed from beginning to end. Their communication throughout the project was excellent, and I was consistent[truncated by Angi at 'See full review']

6+ Room New Window Service — *** See Yelp Reviews *** I purchased new Pella construction windows and installation through Lowe's in February of 2022. In June of 2022 a crew from Aspect Montage showed up at my house with the windows and began installation. The job was rushed and not done properly (siding was never removed - construction windows, foam not applied properly, insulation tape not applied everywhere, shims not installed). Pella came out and inspected the installation in June of 2024. After over a year of back and forth with Lowe's, Aspect came out to my house in October of 2024 to fix outstanding issues. They removed interior trim around the windows again, removed old foam which was not properly applied and applied new one. However, again they did not have ladders and could not complete the job. They promised to return in November but did not. Same thing happened in December. I am working with Lowes to get my project completed with a different installer. Do your due diligence before hiring Aspect[truncated by Angi at 'See full review']

Doors (Exterior) Installation and Replacement — $2,500 — The project: replace old exterior doors at the front and the back of the house. From the beginning to the end it was an amazing experience. The project manager worked with us since the start of the project. He helped us to choose the right doors that fit our needs and budget. He took a good care of order, schedule, and scope of work. The installation team was beyond any expectations. They were on time; the work place was clean, they took care of all the debris. The result is very good. Thank you Aspect Montage team!
