Plum Pro is an exterior contractor in the literal sense — roof, siding, windows, doors, gutters, trim, the whole envelope, and often all of it in one project. A July 2026 customer had the roof, siding and gutters replaced and the house repainted; another that month had siding, construction windows, gutters and a storm door done together. In January 2026 a homeowner described a job that stripped layers of vinyl and wood siding, re-wrapped the house, added insulation, re-sided it, redid the roof with an extension over a bay window, and replaced the gutters. The names recur with unusual consistency. Patrick and Tim on the sales side, Steve and Joe running projects, Vadim, Favio, Eddie, Bruno and Diogo on the crews, and Yuk, the owner, whom several customers name directly. In July 2026 a crew worked through 90-plus degree heat; another took on a storm-damaged leaking roof, worked alongside an asbestos abatement contractor when the old roofing materials came back positive, and closed it out before the next storm. A June 2026 homeowner who described themselves as a stickler about nails in the yard said the crew cleaned up like it was their own home. The company holds an active Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration. Two accounts cut the other way, and both are recent. In July 2026 a customer booked a window installation, received an automated notification that the crew was on its way, and nobody arrived — they say the salesperson then stopped answering calls and messages. In April 2026 a siding-and-windows customer was happy with the siding itself but reported unpainted wood and unfilled nail holes in the trim of every window replaced, and nails still scattered through the yard well after the snow melted. The same nail-free-yard detail other customers single out for praise is precisely what this one says went wrong. The numbers: Google averages 4.9 across 181 ratings, Best Pick Reports 5.0 across 111, HomeAdvisor 4.7 across 6. Forty-seven reviews landed in the last six months with three negative among them, and reviewers repeatedly report the quote came in at or below the competing bids they gathered. This is a strong call for a full-envelope exterior job where one company owns roof, siding, windows and trim at once — the coordination across those trades is what people praise most. Put the punch-list in writing before the final payment, because trim painting, nail-hole filling and yard cleanup are exactly where the complaints land, and confirm your install date with the project manager rather than relying on the automated notifications.

I hired Plum Pro for a window project, and their team was amazing from start to finish. During the initial consultation, Patrick in sales listened to my request, thorough with his explanation on what could be possible, and made sure scope of work fit within my budget. The team for window and siding installation were fantastic. When I noticed a scratch in the window after installation, at no fault of the team, as it was on the inner pane and defect from the factory, PM Steve filed a warranty claim with the manufacturer and was able to get a replacement window ordered. PMs Steve and Dave came back to finish the job, and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. I spoke to over 10 contractors before hiring Plum Pro, and every other contractor said a window this scale would be impossible to install, yet Plum Peo brought my vision to life! Everyone I’ve interacted with at Plum Pro is professional, communicative, and respectful and kind while in my home, and I have nothing but positive things to say.

. We had been putting off replacing our roof for a long time bc we were honestly expecting it to be a headache. You always hear stories about delays, mess, and things dragging on longer than planned. But after talking to Plum Pro tho, we felt a lot more comfortable moving forward. They explained everything in a way that actually made sense and didn’t try to push us into anything extra. That was a big plus for us. Once the work started, the crew showed up on time and just got straight to it. What really surprised us was how fast it all went - the full roof replacement was done in just one day. Overall, the roof looks great, and everything went pretty smoothly from start to finish. We’re glad we finally stopped putting it off and went with Plum.

Extremely unreliable company. I book them for windows installation and they never showed up.There system send notification that a crew on the way, but now one arrived. Tim, who was suppose to do estimation and oversee work stoped respond to cal or messages.Save your time and mony and hire a contractor who actually shows up.

What does a roof replacement cost in Greater Boston?
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Plum ProExteriors. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
A square is 100 sq ft of roof surface — bigger than the floor plan because of pitch and overhangs.
Estimated range
$9,000 – $18,600
Typical roofing project around $13,800
