Very poor workmanship lack of customer service roof shingles falling off never ever allow this company to to do any work on your home if you value it
Atlantic restoration came and was paid nearly $80,000 to replace cabinets from water damage and redo my floors. It has been not even a year now, (just about) and the floor is coming up in several different places. When you walk on the taped areas you sink down into the floor because it's not supported correctly underneath and or the and floors come up when you step on them. I have called Atlantic restorations twice now. Gabby took my information down and I have yet to receive a phone call back. Clearly they're waiting for the warranty to go out so they don't have to come back and fix the work that they did, that was horrible to begin with. It took 6 months, and 90% of the time the workers didn't show up when they were supposed to. I took a lot of time off of work to be home for them and they never showed up. It was very frustrating and this happened at least 3 times a week. They ruined brand new furniture, stair rugs that they had to replace because the workers ruined them which were also brand new, and a ton of miscommunication. I would never go through this company again. It looks good on the outside when they finished but the work wasn't done correctly. Therefore it's already a mess and I can't get a simple phone call back. I had people come to my house that didn't speak English and thought I didn't have cameras or translation apps running and have them recorded to this day; talking very crude about myself and my husband (as well as making sex moaning noises and laughing). So much so as the flooring company was fired and assured me they would never be back. The crew was ran by a man named flabiano. The project manager David was completely incompetent. I would never run a business like this. Im asking for a phone call back to have them come fix what I would assume to be sufficient for what was paid to the company. Not to mention the budget was completely incorrect and had to have my insurance company intervien because money wasn't adding up for the work that was done or items bought. I kept receipts for everything from plumbing to the cutting board ordered and somehow my money was gone weeks before the project was complete. I will say that some of the employees were amazing. Like Travis who did the cabinets was very talented. Tim, the electrician was good as well.
Horrible company. They supposedly restored my relative's home after a home fire. This company did a horrible job. No enough insulation in the walls. Did not install exhaust pipe or roof vent for toilet ventilation. Inadequate flooring beam support, etc...the list goes on. If you get work done by these people, pay to get your own inspection done. They are a very crooked business. My relative called them multiple times to resolve the issues he was having and his calls were unanswered. Be aware. Save yourself the headache. Also, interestingly, when the fire crew showed up up to put out the fire, the fireman gave my relative their business card. I strongly believe they are paying these folks kickbacks to generate business for them. Seek out your own restoration company. Also be careful with this company. They move around a lot and they don't close out permits when they've completed the work. They also close up shop when they've done enough damage to people's properties and then move on to a different town. These people are unscrupulous. They should never be in business. Look at their BBB rating. Use a different company if you have concerns, as you should. I don't understand how they have so many 5 star ratings, these have to be friends or family members of the owners. This renovation company is out here ripping people off. Don't say I didn't warn you.
I hired Atlantic back in March 2024 after water situation. They came in for clean up and was going to have them do the work. They did demolition on my house which was 2 family. I paid them partial payment to start along with insurance deductable. Three hours after giving them check get email from owner they were not going to continue working. I got my money back and had to find another contractor to continue with fixing my house. Know they are sending letters for payment. DONT RECOMMEND THEM! THERE NEW NAME IS HOUZPITAL! Changed name still same owners
WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE HIRING THIS COMPANY. I had an electrical fire at my house 10/15/23. Atlantic Restoration promised to get my house smoke/water damage free. Pull all necessary permits. Pack my contents and bring them to storage where they were to be inventoried and cleaned. First off - Kelsey did not fill out the demolition permit properly which led to a Stop Work Order on my home. I was stopping at my house frequently and their employees had left my home unlocked multiple times, turned my heat up to 85 degrees and ruined my bathroom with poor hygiene which they were not allowed to use. I only have temporary power still to this day and Atlantic Restorations workers were using my granite mantel as a kitchen with their own personal microwaves. On top of the abuse to my home - they abused my personal property which they had documented in the walk thru photos in perfect condition, warehouse photos I noticed damaged metal items, an incomplete inventory of my items they packed out and their workers sitting and placing items improperly on the little I had left. They advised me to send them the partial check from insurance which I listened to - this is the first time I've ever had to deal with a structure fire/being out of my home. Told me they would hold the check until we had a full scope of work for the new construction. They cashed it two days after I wrote it. In the meantime I was getting upset with how they were handling myself, my home and contents - we had a meeting with Joe Gibertoni, in that time I was deciding to continue working with Atlantic Restoration or not. They quit on me 12/18/23 - and are requesting the full amount of demolition/remediation and storage of my contents when Atlantic Restoration admitted they did not complete the full scope of work regarding pack-out/demolition/remediation of smoke/water damage. Today is 1/8/24 and I am still without $24,760.23, all of my personal belongings from my house and no one will answer the phone or give me any updates. Do not choose this company. I'm extremely anxious and disappointed in how they are handling a life altering disaster. They will destroy your home/contents and leave you in limbo as long as they feel is necessary.
