Two 30-year-old roofs, one on a house and one on a barn, each replaced in under a day: that is how a recent Google customer described hiring Atlantic Roofing in Saco. That customer said they invited five companies to quote, ranked Atlantic Roofing first on price, quality of materials and quality of the proposed work, and have yet to find construction waste or a stray nail anywhere they looked. On Google it holds 5 stars from 163 ratings, and the Better Business Bureau gives it an A+ grade and lists it as accredited. Its website names Cape Elizabeth, South Portland, Scarborough and Hollis as its service area. A recent customer said another contractor had identified problems with their rubber roof, and Justin came out the next day, patched 11 holes and found two more major issues resulting in water penetration into the house. That customer said he fixed everything for a reasonable price. A recent customer said Justin was responsive on a Saturday, the same day they reached out, and jumped on fixing their issue with rain scheduled for the following day. A recent customer said they moved fast and catered to all their needs on the job. A recent customer who had spent two years looking for someone to install some windows said Justin Swett took the time needed to help them understand the problem with their windows.
I can't recommend Atlantic Roofing in Saco enough. We needed a replacement for both our house and barn's 30 year old roofs and I wasn't going to spend that much money without researching my options. After reading all the online reviews and BBB reports for every roofing company that serviced Southern Maine, I felt as thought I had read the entire the entire Internet and unfortunately I read some real horror stories. Yikes. From those online reviews we invited 5 companies to come out and meet with us and provide quotes for our two roofs. Hopefully, I can save you some time from having to repeat what we did, by summing up what we found when we ranked our top choices: Going by price, quality of materials and quality of the proposed work - Atlantic Roofing in Saco was at the top. Going by who we felt most comfortable trusting our home to and who we thought would be there for us in the future if we had any problems some stormy night - once again, Atlantic Roofing was easily the top. Since they did our roofs, I've told a bunch of people that if they ever need roof work, skip the analysis paralysis that normally comes with making such a big decision and simply give them a call. Invite them out for a chat and I'm betting you'll find as we did that you'll be sitting across your kitchen table from someone who cares about doing as good a job for you as you do. Real friendly folks, who did a wonderful job for us at the best price for their quality around. They completed each roof replacement in under a day each and the disruption to our lives was minimal. We've yet to find a bit of construction waste or a stray nail anywhere we've looked. Super tidy folks who obviously care a great deal about their work. Highly recommended. Now if I could only go back in time 6 months and skip all that time I wasted by doing all that "online research" before before I called them!
Contacted Justin who was extremely responsive on a Saturday (the same day). He jumped on fixing our issue right off with rain scheduled the for the following day! A true professional whom I’d highly recommend!!
Reliable, Quick work. They moved fast and catered to all my needs regarding the job. I would definitely use them again for any work.
I can begin to explain how great Justin was. We had another contractor identify some problems with our rubber roof. Justin came out the next day and patched 11 holes and found two more major issues resulting in water penetration into the house. He fixed everything for a reasonable price.
Today I met Justin Swett. Miraculously, he arrived with another contractor. For 2 years I have been on the lookout for someone knowledgeable and reasonably priced to install some windows. Although he is extremely busy he took the time needed to help me understand the problem with my windows. I look forward to working with him. I would definitely call him, if you need a quote and someone with great references. As a retired homeowner, it isn’t easy to find someone, who will listen to your concerns and feel heard.
