“Augusta Natural Gas is very good. They can help with the heat pump portion.”
Very pleased with the professionalism and transparency. I requested a quote to replace a system, and they were honest with my options and their advice to ultimately keep my current system until it needed to be replaced. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
I called to ask about having a heat pump hot water heater and baseboard radiators installed as part of a new construction, and they would not even consider doing the work because I already had the equipment in hand.
They do a great job servicing my boiler. But, the reason I’m leaving this review is we had a water leak in the house and they were able to get here within the hour and make the repair and get the water back going. The tech was great to deal with and was an all around good dude. .
My hot water heater went out on a Monday. I figured I'd buy one from Home Depot, and have their "expert installers" put it in for me. After being jerked around by them for 4 days, I called around again and reached Augusta Natural Gas. I didn't realize they did plumbing until I went onto the Efficiency Maine website and saw them listed. I called, a person actually picked up. She said she was going to see if a technician would be able to come out and take a look. 15 minutes later she called back and said someone was on his way. Miles, Dan and Nolan showed up, and had a new hybrid hot water heater installed within 3 hours! Dan and Nolan cleaned everything up, took away the old water heater, and were super professional and polite. They answered my questions and were a pleasure to do business with! Miles, the owner, gave us us an amazing quote as well. I highly recommend them!
I have worked with these guys for a few years now. My oil furnace was shut off by the oil company during a yearly check. It had to be replaced (November into December) and then oil company took days just to get me a quote for a new furnace. I contacted ANG and the guys acted quick converted me to gas and got my house warm again. They also did a quick emergency replacement on Rinnai in my Carriage House.
