Two moves, one customer, and the difference between them tells you most of what you need. Writing in July 2026, they said Aviv tried to talk them out of insurance on the first haul; they bought it anyway, and the crew left the nicest pieces for the second trip. On that second trip, with no coverage, one antique came back missing a full drawer and another with a large crack. That account sits alongside a great deal of genuine praise. Across 161 Google ratings at 4.4, 75 on Thumbtack at 4.7 and 51 on Angi at 4.5, with written accounts going back to 2013 and an A+ on its BBB page, the ordinary local move is what this Waltham company does fast and cheaply. A June 2024 customer went from a first-floor Somerville apartment to a fourth-floor North End walk-up in four hours flat. Another that month, on their third Boston-area move with the company, had a Brighton-to-Jamaica-Plain job done in under four. A February 2024 customer moving from Billerica to Buzzards Bay said the crew came in under the budgeted hours and discounted the quote. The delicate work lands too, when it lands. A September 2023 customer had a grandfather clock, large antique mirrors, church stained-glass windows and artwork moved by Ovidio and Juan, and said the irreplaceable pieces all came through. A December 2023 review describes 700 miles with no damage and everything reassembled on arrival. When it goes wrong it goes wrong the same way each time. A May 2024 customer on a cross-country move of a large house said several high-value items were severely damaged or broken and others lost or stolen, despite separate insurance purchased through the company's own insurer. A March 2025 reviewer said concerns raised with management were handled poorly and they were pointed toward a claim that would have covered perhaps one percent of the damage. A January 2025 international move produced a long, formal complaint. In March 2022 a customer said a broken desk part disappeared and the desk was left unassembled, so the damage was not noticed until after the crew left. Eight reviews have been written in the past six months; two of them are negative. For a local or regional move of ordinary household goods, this is a quick, well-priced crew with real repeat business — one October 2025 reviewer was on their third move with them across fifteen years. If antiques, art, or a long-distance haul are in play, buy the full-value coverage whatever you are told about it, photograph and inventory the high-value pieces before they go on the truck, and get in writing who handles a damage claim and on what terms.

Probably fine if you don’t have nice furniture. They tried to dissuade me from insurance the first haul, and i got anyway, so they left my nicest pieces for the next round. Got talked out of the insurance the next time - one antique is missing a full drawer- another has a huge chip out of the front. Nobody has called me back about this. They also spent hours trying to convince me it was impossible to remove two pieces of furniture from my home, saying the house must have been modified (it wasn’t). The house did not get built around the furniture. FINALLY (and probably $700 later) they got the furniture loaded.. shocker that it actually did fit out the way it came in They also labeled nothing. I’ve moved over 20 times, even abroad, and have never experienced such negligence BEWARE Angi is over for me as well. Can’t trust, clearly

The Aviv team was fantastic. They worked fast and were very careful with my things. Anything that could be broken in transit was wrapped up and moved carefully. Highly recommend.
