In August 2026 a customer wrote that once the old shingles came off their home, "we discovered extensive plywood rot across the entire roof deck" — enough to need a full teardown to the rafters. That customer, who worked directly with Matt Tetreault, described watching the crew rebuild the structural decking from scratch, put in overtime and complete the entire job in a single day, then run magnets and sweep for stray nails. In September 2026 a customer had the house, breezeway and garage roofed by a huge crew in one day. In May 2026 a customer who sent Award to their father's house wrote that Matt's quote was detailed and included all necessary permits, and the job was complete in one day. We used Award Roofing for our house, breezeway, and garage, and I would highly recommend them. Matt was awesome to deal with from day one. His communication was excellent and he kept us updated through the whole process. They showed up with a huge crew and managed to knock out the entire job in one day. The roofs look great and they did a very thorough job cleaning up the yard before they left. It’s not easy to find contractors this reliable and fast, so I really appreciated working with Award Roofing!
Highly recommend Matt and his team. He was quick to respond to all of my emails and the install was done exactly as stated.
5/5 Stars – Exceptional Craftsmanship, Fair Pricing, and Unmatched Quality I recently hired Award Roofing to replace the roof on my home, working directly with Matt Tetreault, and the level of quality and professionalism they delivered was top-tier from start to finish. Here is why I cannot recommend Matt and his team highly enough: Transparent & Honest Pricing: Award Roofing provided the most competitive bid while using the exact same high-tier materials as other contractors. No high-pressure sales tactics or hidden costs—just total upfront transparency. Proactive Communication: Matt kept me updated before, during, and after the job. I always knew exactly what was happening and when. Top-Notch Craftsmanship & Problem-Solving: Once the old shingles came off, we discovered extensive plywood rot across the entire roof deck that required a full teardown straight to the rafters. Watching the crew rebuild the structural decking from scratch was impressive—the framing was rock-solid, the layout was dead-accurate, and the final shingle placement and flashing work look flawless. Despite adding a massive amount of structural work to the schedule, the crew put in overtime and completed the entire job in a single day. Respectful Crew & Minimal Disruption: I work remotely from home, and the crew was hard-working, professional, and respectful. The only noticeable noise lasted about 2-3 hours during the unplanned structural teardown; otherwise, the shingle removal and installation were surprisingly quiet. I carried on with my workday with clients and coworkers barely noticing the work happening in the background. Meticulous Cleanup: Their attention to detail extended all the way through the cleanup. They ran magnets and did a thorough sweep to ensure not a single stray nail or piece of debris was left behind. Matt and his crew turned a potentially stressful structural surprise into a masterclass in great craftsmanship. I will be recommending Award Roofing to friends and family, and Matt will be my first call when I’m ready to upgrade to vinyl siding down the road.
Great job! Clean and efficiently, everything worked out as planned, finished the entire roof job in a timely manner.
The roof was installed in a day. That included replacing deteriorated plywood. Several days of rain, some heavy rain, have passed and no leaks in the attic. So a good job. Matt was careful to work around storms so that the house was always covered by a roof. The contract and payment can all be handled electronically and I would highly recommend handling the transaction that way.
