Roof replacement and repeat window work feature in Bailey Home Improvements customers’ accounts. A June 2026 client described several years of roofing, windows, wrapping, gutters, gutter guards and siding work, most recently enlarging the front windows on Alex’s recommendation. They said the redesign changed the look of the house and that the price was the lowest they received. Based in South Windsor, Bailey says it has done roofs, gutters, windows and siding for more than ten years. It advertises free estimates and service in communities including Ashford, Bloomfield, Glastonbury, Manchester, Somers, South Windsor, Stafford and Suffield. Its Connecticut home-improvement contractor registration is active. Several recent customers describe jobs finished on time. In May 2026, one homeowner said the crew replaced the shed roof and then the house roof, kept the property clean and finished when promised. Another reported a roof replaced in one day. A third described gutter and window-flashing repairs or replacement without issues. Other customers have returned: a July 2025 homeowner said Alex had installed windows for them twice, and an April 2025 customer described a 2020 skylight replacement followed by picture-window and garage-door-window work in 2025. There are also serious older complaints. In June 2025, a homeowner said the roof leaked from the first day after replacement. They said Alex returned and repaired it, complaining about losing money, but that they later found rotting wood in the attic with shingles visible through it. An April 2023 reviewer alleged that workers doing a roof at their apartment stole a fuel jug and a neighbor’s PVC pipe. A January 2026 customer described a winter emergency after water entered through an aging roof. They said Alex assessed it immediately, quoted the replacement and scheduled it for a break in the weather the following week. The crew worked from 8 a.m. until dark, and Alex returned the next day to check that the dumpster and debris had been removed. I've now used Bailey Home Improvements on multiple occasions and for several years, including recent home renovations. Work they've done for me includes roofing, new window installing, window and door wrapping, gutters and gutter guards, and even some siding work. My recent project came out better than intended, as I followed the recommendations of Alex and totally redesigned my front window set up by having them install larger size windows - it totally changed the look of my house. They are always immediate to respond and I never have to worry about a wait. The owner is physically on site much more than others, the price was the best received, and the quality is top notch. Alex even loaned me some of his own equipment to work on a few things I did myself outside their work. Highly recommended and a local sole-proprietor company to boot.
We had our roofs replaced on our shed, and then in the entire house. Since the beginning l, Alex professional, responsive, and honest about every step of the process. The crew arrived and worked efficiently. They kept the property clean throughout the project and completed the job exactly when promised. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing roofing work and would hire them again without hesitation.
Repaired/replaced my gutters and window flashing. Good price, worknwas done on time and no issues.
Aleks and his team were great, they replaced my roof in one day and it came out perfect. Thanks again.!
