I am very happy to recommend Basement Finish Pros. They finished our basement, adding an extra bedroom / rec room with egress window, plus a full bathroom. The transformation is incredible, and they were very professional and courteous throughout the project. At the beginning Alex took measurements and gave me options. We ended up skipping some more expensive custom options, and felt no pressure or upselling tactics. Throughout the project communication was regular and everyone doing the work was highly competent, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves so we could continue to use the space for laundry while they worked. They handled all the permits and coordination and now we have extra space in time for our new baby. You won’t regret working with them!

My wife and I just had an entire basement redone as well as a new tile shower done by Alex and his crew. The whole process was seamless and Alex was able to be reached throughout the entire project. His guys would come out on weekends too and stay late if needed to meet deadlines. Every step of the project was triple checked to make sure everything was up to our standards and liking. Basement design and cabinet order was all done in house as Alex has a family member at Home Depot which made that steps of the process that much more convenient and the basement design easy to understand. My wife and I couldn’t recommend these guys enough, class act outfit all the way around. Super friendly people that take pride in their work and do good by the customer. Thanks again Alex and crew!

Alex, his team and the electrician are professional and hard dedicated workers. Everything came out great! I am VERY pleased with the final results how they finished my living area/basement. I also had the existing half bathroom touched up. It was repainted, new flooring added and a new bathroom vanity installed. BFP has great attention to detail which shows they have great craftsmanship skills and provide quality work. The electrician Mark was also fantastic to work with. He asked me during the process where I wanted light fixtures, electrical outlets AND he even accommodated the wall outlet where I planned to mount the TV on the wall (very thoughtful). Stefan was easy to work with and included me through the process. He wanted my input on how I wanted the flooring tile to lay (both bathroom and basement), where to put the bathroom fixtures and confirm the paint color (since I was initial indecisive). Even through the hot temperatures the crew worked diligently but safely. I was able to accommodate their schedule to resume work when it got a little cooler when the sun went down. This shows their dedication and hard work ethic. Alex had great communication skills. I was provided an update through the entire process. He was very response to any of my questions and inquiries. I should have hired Basement Finish Pros 20 years ago when I initial built my home. I am glad I waited because the final results were worth it. I highly recommend Basement Finish Pros!

Basement Pros were fantastic to work with! At first, we were hesitant because of the quoted price, but after getting a second, higher quote, we adjusted our expectations—and we're so glad we did. Alex and his team are true experts, paying great attention to detail while still working efficiently and quickly. They always aimed for the best possible outcome and adapted as needed once the demo revealed what was possible (our basement was already finished but very old). It was great to work with people who specialized in basements - because they really seemed super practiced in the things we ran into. Nothing was an issue. We can’t say enough good things about the team and the process. This is some of the best money we have spent on the house, and would recommend them to anyone.

WOW! We still can’t believe how beautiful and functional our basement turned out. Hiring contractors is something we cringe about having to do…just like going to the RMV nobody wants to, nobody! The experience we had with Basement Finish Pro’s was AMAZING! From start to finish it has been a pleasure working with the complete crew. The team were all courteous and helpful. The responsiveness and constant communication was beyond what we have ever experienced with hiring a contractor. Thank you for that Igor & Alex. Our scary basement is now gorgeous! We highly recommend Alex, Igor, Peter, Nick, Mark (electrician), Gregorie (plumber), and all the others. Some Details: Alex’s was the only contractor we met with that showed us what the space could possibly look like...a design rendering was above and beyond and it is what sold the job. Also provided a very detailed description of materials/costs, and he went over all the tasks that were needed to ensure moisture wouldn’t be an issue. Price: They were not the least expensive nor the most, they were in between and we felt definitely a fair price. We did add a few things, and in the end the extra cost was still very fair. Our 1957 home had MANY challenges, and there wasn’t anything that Igor (the project manager) couldn’t do to come up with solutions for each and everyone. Basement remodeling comes with special challenges, and they possess an extreme amount of knowledge in ‘basement’ remodeling, setting them apart from other contractors. Also not to go unmentioned was the care/details, and that they really wanted to make sure we were happy with everything was unmatched. What they did: CAD rendering, demolition, treating for mold, sealing floors/walls to protect from moisture, Framing (special metal type to ensure drywall did not touch the cement walls) Drywall (special for basements), Leveling a very uneven floor, and the soup to nuts: trim/painting/flooring etc all. We love our contemporary stairway banister, they used cabling, so sleek and everyone says how cool it is!
