BC Painting and Services is a Holliston, Massachusetts painting and carpentry crew run by Bruno Cardoso, and recent reviews keep landing on the same word: repeat. One homeowner says they've used the crew again and again over the years to stain a deck and repaint the house exterior; a commercial client says Bruno's team has painted two office buildings in Framingham and plans to call again for future work. The numbers back up that loyalty — 55 Google ratings averaging five stars, and a 4.9 from 43 ratings on Thumbtack, where the company holds Top Pro status with 142 projects shown. The written record runs back to 2014. A 2023 review described the crew taking their time each day prepping, repairing, and caulking instead of just painting over old surfaces; a 2022 job involved intricate hand-carved trim on an 1840 house; a 2021 review described detailed coffered-ceiling and moulding work fixing another painter's mistakes. Several reviews also describe carpentry alongside the paint jobs — a 2024 roof and deck replacement, a 2022 basement rebuild after flooding that removed mold-damaged walls, and a 2021 job that replaced old gutters and rotted wood while redoing the porches. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, HIC #211174, is active on the state registry. Thumbtack also lists a lead contractor license for the company. BBB gives it an A+ rating. This is a strong call for an exterior repaint, a deck, or a remodel that mixes painting with carpentry — bathroom and basement projects show up in the record too. We've used BC repeatedly over the years to stain the deck/paint the exterior of the house. One of our mainstays as contractors!
We have used Bruno and BC Painting to paint the exterior of two of our commercial buildings in Framingham. We are very, very pleased with their work, the fair pricing and Bruno's responsiveness and professionalism. We will use them again for future projects and I give them the highest recommendation.
Bruno and his team did an amazing job on my condo! They were very professional and got the job done in a timely manner. I highly recommend Bruno and will be using him for any other projects I have down the road!
Bruno was wonderful to work with. His consultation was detailed and helpful as I was navigating wallpaper versus paint. My home is an antique and the walls needed some complicated repairs. Bruno’s team took down aged wallpaper, made repairs to the drywall, and painted. They also painted a high stairwell and made repairs. Price was competitive and fair. Between the price and Bruno’s attention to detail and professionalism, I selected him for the job. Extremely grateful for his work. HIGHLY recommend.
