Bee the Buzz is a sole-proprietor ecological landscape design and organic land-care business run by Tori Hiney out of Nashua, NH. Tori has over a decade of horticulture experience, including more than 11 years as Ecology and Horticulture Supervisor at the Rose Kennedy Greenway in Boston, and holds Massachusetts Certified Horticulturist, Accredited Organic Land Care Professional, and Organic Lawn Care Accredited Professional credentials. The business focuses on native-plant, pollinator-friendly garden design and organic maintenance programs for homeowners, small businesses and municipalities. Three detailed 2026 reviews describe successful transformations: a family's lakeside Maine property converted into a thriving native garden, a townhome's barren front yard turned into a flourishing pollinator space with hands-on guidance on soil, sunlight and natural mulching, and a client's converted native garden that was featured on the Portsmouth Garden Club's 2022 Garden Tour after switching away from a traditional lawn. Worth knowing before booking: Bee the Buzz is a newer business, with only three reviews on file so far (all from 2026) and no reviews yet on HomeAdvisor or Angi, where it also states it does not offer free estimates, emergency services, or warranties. Every review on file so far is detailed and strongly positive, describing Tori's design expertise and ongoing guidance directly, but the track record is still thin. Homeowners drawn to ecological, low-maintenance, native landscaping are the best fit; anyone booking should confirm scope, timeline and pricing directly given the newer directory presence.
Bee the Buzz completely transformed my family’s lakeside property in Maine into a native, sustainable garden that is honestly unreal. What used to be a pretty standard outdoor space is now vibrant, low maintenance, and full of life, with bumblebees, butterflies, and constant movement. It completely changed how the space feels. Tori really knows what she’s doing when it comes to planting zones, sunlight, and what will actually thrive long term. The way she designs with native plants fills everything in naturally, so weeds don’t really stand a chance, and over time the whole space starts to function like its own little ecosystem and pollinator highway. Everything is done in a natural, intentional way using native plants and compost/compost tea. NO fertilizer, NO pesticides, NO WORRIES! Amazing. I’ve also seen her work on two other homes in New Hampshire, separate from my family’s property, and both backyards were transformed into beautiful patio garden spaces that are perfect for hosting. They are full of pollinators, look incredible, and feel like they added real value to the homes. Tori is such a breath of fresh air to work with. She is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and just really good at what she does. She does not just make things look nice, she creates spaces that last and continue to grow. If you are sick of redoing annual plants, dealing with ugly mulch, and constantly fighting weeds, and want something natural and sustainable that actually looks amazing, go with Bee the Buzz!
I live in a townhome with a postage stamp front yard, for more 2 years I tried to grow anything in my front yard and failed, even grass wouldn’t grow. Bee the buzz helped me create the tiny garden of my dreams. Tori designed the space and helped me understand the sun light, soil and planting zone. We planted native plants that come back every year stronger and stronger. She taught me about natural mulching and compost tea and now every morning I get to have my coffee with my pollineighbors and my human neighbors always ask me what plants I have growing. If you have a space big or small and dream of filling it with your dream garden, I highly recommend Bee the Buzz. Not only will your garden become sustainable, Tori will teach you how to be the human sustaining it. 🌷🌻🐝
Bee the Buzz helped us go from lawns (requiring watering and mowing) to beautiful native pollinator gardens. This caught the attention of the Portsmouth Garden Club. In 2022, we were one of the gardens featured on the Portsmouth Garden Tour! I love the low to no maintenance and the literal buzz it creates among pollinators as well as the people that walk by! An added bonus is that most of the native plantings at least double every year, so I have been able to create two additional gardens!
