Berkshire Tree Service

A 60-foot oak near a house was the job one Berkshire Tree Service customer described in September 2023. The customer thanked Peter, Eric and the crew for answering questions and cleaning up afterward. Two January 2025 Google reviews also praised tree removal: one described quick work and cleanup, while another said Pete explained which trees needed to come down and which should stay. The company describes itself as family-owned, with more than 30 years of experience serving residential and commercial properties. Its website lists tree removal, land clearing, stump grinding, storm damage services and landscaping, along with free estimates and 24/7 emergency service. A Berkshire Eagle article identifies Peter and Michelle Beaudoin as the owners. An April 2022 Google customer said Peter got back to them immediately after a tree fell at their home, then came with his crew the next day. Google lists 3.9 stars from 14 ratings, and the company's BBB page carries an A+ grade. There is also a serious personal-conduct allegation in a July 2017 Google review. That customer described the work as acceptable and the price as reasonable, but alleged that the owner sent sexually inappropriate texts to their wife after the job. The customer said they would neither hire nor recommend Pete again.
