Highlights
- On budget, on schedule — reviewers describe major renovations finished as promised
- Two decades running — Paul Bevilacqua has led the company since 2003
- BBB A+ grade — no complaints recorded in its file
Bevilacqua Builders is a Wellesley general contractor built around big jobs — custom homes, ground-up new construction, and additions — rather than small repairs. Paul Bevilacqua has run the company since 2003, and Houzz lists a typical project in the $500,000 to $4 million range, with a service area running through Needham, Weston, Dover and the neighboring towns. The written record here runs from 2013 to 2017: a homeowner who doubled the size of their home said fifteen years later they're still happy with the result, and another credited Paul with taking the time to understand what they wanted before the renovation began, calling the work finished on time and within budget. Its BBB file backs that up with an A+ grade and no complaints recorded, though it isn't BBB-accredited. That written record speaks to the company's first decade or so rather than to a current job, so before booking it's worth checking current availability and confirming a recent project matches the scale described on Houzz.
