A tornado in June brought an oak tree down on a customer's roof, and Blackstone Tree Services removed it with a crane operated by remote control, then took all of the tree with them. The company describes itself on its website as a family-owned tree care business in Saco, Maine, with over 20 years of experience in the tree care industry. On Google it holds a 5-star average across 9 ratings. After a storm on Aug 13 blew a tree down in a customer's front yard, they removed it the next day, and before they were done the neighbors were hiring them for other jobs. A customer who had a thorough inspection received a free estimate with an insurance certificate by email within an hour, approved it through the email and immediately got a scheduled project date; Mike and his crew showed up on time. A customer who received an itemized quote and insurance information all at once called Mike and Josh hard workers in the heat and said they kept checking whether the customer was satisfied. A customer praised the communication and said they were respectful of the property and cleaned up well after.
