Blue Jay Painting is a Winchester, Massachusetts painting contractor serving homeowners from 61 George Rd. The Better Business Bureau lists Painting Contractors as its service, and identifies Deivid Reus as the owner; that listing reports eight years in business and one employee, while noting the company is not BBB accredited and has no BBB rating. The two Google reviews, dated 2022 and 2024, are sharply divided. In 2024, a homeowner praised accurate quotes, communication, a one-day job, and work they felt went above and beyond, saying BlueJay would be their go-to house painter. A 2022 reviewer reported missed spots, paint on fixtures and tile, unfilled drywall holes, sloppy rehanging of doors, and difficulty getting corrections addressed. Before booking, ask for a detailed scope covering surface preparation, drywall repairs, protection of fixtures, and the handling and rehanging of doors or cabinets. Confirm how corrections are documented and resolved, and request current references for comparable interior or exterior work. Blue Jay may suit homeowners seeking a local painting contractor, provided the scope, cleanup expectations, and callback process are clear in writing.

Deivid was recommended to me by the developers of my house. He gave accurate and reasonable quotes and was a great communicator and did an excellent job for me in one day. I feel he and his team went above and beyond and his work speaks for itself. Real pleasure to work with someone so knowledgeable, thoughtful and efficient. BlueJay will be my go to house painters.
Blue Jay Painting missed a number of spots, did a poor job keeping paint off tile, light fixtures, windows, and hinges. They missed multiple holes in the drywall. I had all new doors installed and brand new cabinets built. The painters removed them to paint and did a sloppy job rehanging them, stripping many of the screw holes. I asked Deivid to correct the misaligned doors, and he was avoiding me and refusing to adjust the doors and correct from when they re-installed them.
