Boston 5 Star Contractors is a Malden general contractor whose reviews mix restaurant and office fit-outs with home remodels. Several 2025 reviewers described restaurant renovations in Boston, including work inside Faneuil Hall, and others described commercial office makeovers. On the residential side, May 2025 customers described kitchen remodels, one of them in a home of more than 15 years, and a Cambridge home renovation, and a November 2025 customer had a home theater fully remodeled. It holds 4.8 stars from 63 Google ratings and an A+ BBB grade, and the Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration 196704 held by Aguimar Desouza is active on the state registry. Many of the five-star reviews were posted within a few days of each other in early May and early August 2025. The one detailed complaint is older: in an October 2021 review, a customer who hired Agui Souza and Bostonian Carpentry for carpentry work said he did not supervise the job, sent subcontractors who caused damage, and went long stretches without returning calls. An April 2025 reviewer complained about the driving of one of the company's vans.
