Boston Elite Roofing & Masonry

A flat roof past twenty years old had started leaking, so the homeowner called three companies. In a May 2026 review, they said Boston Elite came back with the best overall bid — the cheaper option carried only a two-year warranty. That is the kind of job this Somerville company is built for: roofs, chimneys and the wet side of a house. Its site describes a family-owned roofing and masonry contractor serving Boston and the surrounding area, offering roofing, chimney, masonry, siding, gutter, basement, foundation and waterproofing work, and says the family has been at it more than 15 years. On Google it holds 5 stars across 37 ratings. The roof work is recent and local: leaking shingles fixed in June 2026 at what that customer called a brilliant price, and a roof repair on a Somerville home in April 2026. The masonry side runs to chimneys — a Cambridge customer had a full chimney rebuild in February 2026 and said work like it is hard to find now — alongside a stucco repair and a run of chimney repairs and rebuilds through 2024. Below grade, customers writing in 2024 describe a basement finally dry after waterproofing, leaks taken care of, a French drain that changed a yard, and a sinking foundation put right. The fullest account is older: in a 2023 review, a homeowner had roof repair, gutter cleaning and maintenance done in a single visit, and every repair was photographed afterwards so they could inspect it themselves. For a leaking roof, a chimney that needs rebuilding or a basement taking on water, this is a reasonable Boston-area call. Ask for the photo documentation that 2023 customer got, and settle the warranty term in writing — that is what decided the May 2026 flat-roof job.
