Verified record
Boston Wildlife Pest Control is a Malden-based wildlife specialist — the record centers on raccoons, groundhogs, squirrels, and snake identification rather than routine ant-and-mouse work, with a technician named David repeatedly credited by name. In a January 2026 review, a homeowner described two raccoons trapped and removed within a few days, with the company using a wireless trail camera to monitor the traps and rebaiting on short notice, including late on a Friday evening. In a 2022 review, a customer called about a family of raccoons and a large groundhog living under a deck; the company arrived within the week with eight people, installed steel mesh with a one-way exit door around the whole perimeter, and finished within a couple of hours. A 2023 review described the company fixing a botched critter-guard installation a solar company had left behind, after squirrels got underneath panels and chewed the wiring. Several 2023-2024 reviews describe David offering free snake-skin identification over email, responding quickly to reduce a homeowner's worry about what they'd found. One 2023 review is worth knowing about: a customer calling about a bat inside their home says no one returned the promised callback, and had to get a friend's help instead. This looks like a solid, humane-leaning option specifically for a raccoon, groundhog, or squirrel exclusion job — steel mesh, one-way doors, live trapping — rather than a general exterminator, with David also useful for identification questions. Worth confirming response times directly given the one report of an unreturned call.

If you have a raccoon friend or 2 in my case, this is the company to call. Within a few days they had them both trapped and taken care of. They were great to work with, clear at communicating and would come out to rebait the traps at a moments notice (including late on a Friday evening). They also use a wireless trail cam so they could watch for a trap going off while I was away for the weekend. I think the raccoons too would appreciate their service. They had several great meals (slim jims) before they were...
Dave replied super quickly to help identify a snake for us!
David was exceptionally fast to respond to an email in helping me identify a snake skin in North Falmouth, MA for free. Very thankful for his services. Thanks again!
David is great and really knows his stuff!
Squirrels nesting underneath solar panels and chewing on wires. Had the solar installer add a critter guard to the perimeter of the panels but it failed. Poor quality materials and worse installation. Boston Wildlife came to the rescue and did the job correctly, on time and on budget. Highly recommend them.
