EcoShield Pest Solutions works out of 7 McKay Ave in Winchester, and on Google it sits at 4.8 stars across 3,770 ratings — a review count most local pest outfits never come close to. People call them for the routine work: ants, wasps and hornets working into a soffit vent, rodents, and a recurring inside-and-out spray plan. What comes up again and again in recent reviews is the same handful of names — Chris Rogers, Jonathan, Richard, Ronald McGhee — showing up, explaining what they're spraying and why, and checking in before they leave. One reviewer describes a two-part hornet job that got rained out the first night: the technician came back, knocked down the nest already sprayed, and then found a second, main nest hiding in the soffit vent. Another describes a technician working through spider webs in a downpour with rain-safe pellets and still stopping to answer questions. A few customers mention sticking with the service past their first year specifically because of how a particular technician handled the visit. The Better Business Bureau backs the pattern with an A grade, and the review history runs deep — 223 reviews logged between 2024 and 2026 across four different sources. Two things are worth asking about before signing up. A repeated complaint is about the sales side of the business rather than the service techs: reviewers describe door-to-door reps showing up in the evening — one says 7:30pm — and not accepting no for an answer. And at least one customer reported an actual problem that went unresolved: a bee and wasp job that left their siding damaged, with no return call after they raised it. For recurring pest, wasp, and rodent work, the praise for the technicians who actually show up holds up across dozens of named, dated reviews. Before booking, it's worth asking how a sales visit will be handled if you're not ready to commit on the spot, and what happens if a treatment damages something on the property — the two places this company's reputation gets tested.

Rude pushy salesmen coming to my door and not taking no for an answer. Talk to me like a human being, not a target for psychological games and pressure tactics. When I've made it clear that I'm not buying what you're selling, that's your cue to leave.
