Branch Manager Tree Service

Branch Manager Tree Service is Dave Cobb's outfit in Jefferson, working tree removal, trimming, stump grinding and 24/7 storm calls across Worcester County. The company says Cobb founded it in 1995 and that it is veteran-owned, something customers in Worcester and Millbury bring up themselves when they write about it. Dave shows up to quote the job, usually fast, and often the same day. A Shrewsbury customer called for an estimate and had him there that afternoon because he was in the area; a Rutland homeowner says he answered the phone on the third ring, came out that day, and had the crew on site once they agreed a price. A Worcester homeowner met him while he was working at a neighbor's house and got branch removal done the next day. Several people say they had put a tree off for years over what they assumed it would cost, and the quote came in under what they expected and under the other estimates they had gathered. The work itself is what you would want from a tree crew. In West Boylston they took down a 100-foot tree standing close to a house and a power line and left the yard as if nobody had been there. In Jefferson, Dave's assessment of a dead tree that could have taken out power for a whole street led to it coming down and several others being trimmed. In Worcester a dead tree in a backyard was down and the debris gone in about an hour, and a cherry tree full of carpenter ants was removed the same way. A homeowner in Shrewsbury who did not want to lose the shade of a huge maple was talked through the options rather than sold a removal, and a customer whose pine branch fell into a neighbor's ornamental bush says the crew listened and did not try to add anything on. One July job was not a tree job at all: the crew got a cat down from fifty feet up a hard-to-reach tree in Worcester. Cleanup and communication come up in nearly every account — debris hauled off, lawns left clean, a foreman checking after each tree that the customer was satisfied, photos texted to an owner who was not home to watch the work. Crew members get named too, like Randy in a May review. Prices are called reasonable, competitive or better than other estimates over and over again. Google shows 4.9 stars from 127 ratings and the Better Business Bureau grades the business A+; Porch, on a smaller pool, has it at 4.6 from 33 ratings. For a removal, a storm limb, or grinding a stump anywhere around Worcester, this is a company whose customers keep calling back — get the quote and the cleanup scope in writing, and confirm whether stump grinding is included or scheduled as a separate visit, since customers describe it coming a few days later.
