About Brian Desrocher”
Great work, likes to be paid up front to schedule.issues arise from other jobs so have to reschedule dates.
A little pricey for a minor & quick installation of a lighting switch.
He was great, very efficient. Will hire him for other work in near future. Very pleasant gentleman.
Brian responded within two hours of posting my inquiry and was ready to come out the next morning to get the job done. His cost estimate was $225 less than my other quote! He was cordial and professional on the phone, collected as much data from me as he could, then asked me to send him photos of the projects. When he got here, he was relaxed, friendly, easy to talk to and got the work done quickly and professionally. He stuck to his cost estimate for the repairs, charging me only for necessary replacement parts. I will be happy tor hire him again for other electric projects.
I have a 1910 house, which had knob and tube wiring, so there's always something that needs to be figured out and I often buy fixtures from Europe, he always figures it out and never gives up. He's changed some of the wires to more conventional wires and he accomplished it very quickly. The work has remained excellent after he has finished. He is a very pleasant person to be around and I enjoy it when he comes to do the work because we have nice conversations and he likes dogs! He's rewired old antique chandeliers, and he also very aware of safety and alerted me to when I should upgrade and didn't just tell me about things to alarm me and make more money - he was just genuinely concerned about me and my houses safety. Occasionally we have needed specialized bulbs for the European lights and we would go out of his way to find them for me and wouldn't charge me for them, they were complimentary.
