Brian J. Dire

Brian J. Dire is a Woburn electrician whose Massachusetts electrician license is active, verified directly against the state board's registry. The business runs on a small, personal track record — two written reviews on BuildZoom, one from 2012 and one from 2020, both from customers who came back more than once. In a 2020 review, a customer described a multi-stage house remodel where the electrical work included wiring for an addition and "a substantial part of the entire house wiring," priced at $3,000; the account credits the crew with finishing on time and on budget, and skipping a charge for an unrelated call-out that turned out to need no work. An earlier reviewer, writing in 2012, said Brian had handled several jobs for them over the years and called him professional, honest, and reliable. BuildZoom also lists two older Massachusetts license numbers for the business that it has not re-verified since 2016, separate from the currently active one. There isn't much written history beyond those two accounts, so it's worth asking about current availability and getting a firm quote before the job starts. For a house rewiring or an electrical addition handled by someone with a verified license and a couple of long-standing customers behind him, this is a small operation worth a call.
