Frank J O'Reilly Electrical Services is a one-man, owner-operated electrical business based in the Lexington/Burlington area of Massachusetts. The company says Frank, a licensed Master Electrician, has served the area since 1990 and personally handles every job himself. Across 37 reviews from 2022 to 2026, the pattern is remarkably consistent: homeowners describe Frank returning calls within minutes to an hour and showing up the same day, including for weekend and evening emergencies like a blown fuse, a fallen-pole power outage, or a beeping alarm detector. He's handled everything from routine repairs — a damaged outlet, a broken switch, replacing a bathroom fan in an older home — to bigger jobs like upgrading a service panel to 200 amps, installing a Tesla Wall Charger and EV chargers, and wiring recessed lighting. Several reviewers who've used many electricians over the years single him out as unusually responsive and straightforward compared to typical contractor experiences. One 2026 review said he declined to give an estimate, citing being too busy — a fair thing to ask about upfront given how in demand he appears to be. Otherwise, Frank is a strong choice for residential electrical work in the Lexington, Burlington and Woburn area, especially for anyone who values a responsive, hands-on electrician who does the work himself rather than sending a rotating crew.
Frank repaired my damaged ground wire quickly and did a great job. He gave me a fair price, explained everything clearly, fast respond and communicated well throughout the process. Highly recommend!
O'Rielly Electrical recently did work for me (installing L2 Charger, and new outdoor outlet for a well). He was great to work with, and top quality work.
unwilling to give an estimate when requested. says he's too busy.
I don't usually write a review no matter good or bad, this time I feel compelled because of the quality of work Frank provided. I had some complex electrical needs involving specialized installations, and Frank handled them with ease. He is incredibly knowledgeable and very patient with technical questions. The finish is clean, professional, and beyond what I was looking for. He cleaned up everything and even did an impressive patch work for the wall. If you want the job done right the first time, Frank is your guy.
Frank replied to my initial call within minutes and showed up just a few hours later to resolve several electrical issues in my older home. He worked quickly and all work done surpassed my expectations. Very reasonable price. Don't think about it, just call him. Great guy, great service.
