Bright Brothers of the Valley, based in Seymour, softwashes houses and roofs, cleans gutters and installs holiday and permanent lights. Its Google page shows 4.9 stars from 143 ratings, with written reviews from 2023 to late 2025. The washing jobs are the core. In a December 2025 Google review, a customer said moss on the roof began dying within a week of treatment and was gone after a couple of months, with the landscaping protected. An October 2025 reviewer described a 20x25 glass-roofed sunroom on a hillside cleaned with no damage to the plants around it. A June 2025 customer said a lichen treatment transformed their fence, along with the siding, roof, windows and walkways. In a June 2024 review, a buyer of a foreclosure said years of moss and green grime came off the roof and house. The lighting side is newer. An October 2025 customer said permanent under-soffit lights switch to colors on holidays and stay white the rest of the year, with no change they could see in their electric use after about 6 months. December 2025 reviewers described Christmas lights and a wreath installed by Austin Miller. An August 2025 customer said a demonstration sold them on RainDrop gutter guards. The complaints are about marketing and a missed spot. Reviewers in August and September 2025 objected to flyers with metal binder clips tossed at the end of driveways around their neighborhood. In a June 2025 review, a customer said the crew promised to come back for missed windows and either did not or did not fix the issue. The company says it offers free estimates. Professional and knowledgeable team, from sales to service. The results on the roof alone were worth it - moss began dying within a week, and after a couple months it had all come off. I also appreciated the extra care taken to ensure my landscape ornamentals were not damaged.
Bright Brothers did an excellent job on the installation of lights and wreath at my home. Austin Miller was very professional and thorough on the installation process and took the time out to answer my questions. I would definitely recommend them and will plan to use them next year.
