Brightside Cleaners describes itself on Thumbtack as a locally owned cleaning company based in Southampton, serving Northampton and surrounding areas. Its website says it cleans homes and businesses across Western Massachusetts and lists Northampton, Amherst, Easthampton, Southampton and Hadley as its service area. One customer says the company fit them in quickly for a deep cleaning of three full bathrooms and a kitchen: they cleaned long-neglected air vents, removed an overhead light fixture to clean out bugs and dust, and took the pots and pans off the kitchen island shelves to clean that space. That customer calls the price very fair and plans to hire them for regular full-house cleanings. A customer who needed a deep clean of a farmhouse after a renovation says they paid special attention to the wood floors and made sure every bit of grit and dust was gone. One customer writes that wooden closet doors were polished to a shine and furniture was moved to clean under it, and that they took time to meet the customer's timid rescue dog before starting work. One customer had Brightside clean for an open house, and one says it deep cleaned their home and is now hiring it for ongoing monthly cleaning. A 2025 reviewer wrote that, as retirees, they found it harder to keep up with cleaning, and that they looked forward to seeing Rudy, his wife and crew every two weeks.
