In a 2022 review, a customer said they contracted with the company in 2021 for a rooftop solar system and an eCar charger in the garage, and that the contract, worth just over $25,000, came in right on budget. A 2025 r/massachusetts comment gave Brightstar Solar a thumbs-up. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 166783, held by Brightstar Solar, LLC, is active on the state registry. The Better Business Bureau gives the company a B- grade and lists one complaint against it.

We had a wonderful experience with Brightstar. We originally had conversations in 2019 and didn’t proceed but when we decided to implement in 2025, they were quick to respond and provide a quote. Brightstar was awesome through out the Solar Panel installation process. Brightstar did a fantastic job installing solar on my home. Jon and Mona were both super great in terms of answering questions, coordinating schedules and navigating the process. I was a bit picky in how I wanted the panels laid out and conduit run and Jon was really collaborative in the design process. The install team were incredibly nice, clean and professional and just as importantly - they did beautiful work. I highly recommend working with a company like Brightstar that has excellent attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction and quality workmanship. You'll be smiling ear to ear once you get your first $0 electric bill.

They couldn't have been more supportive and easy to deal with. The contract was worth just over $25,000 in total and came in right on budget.
